Buddy both of your points are simply false. I put together both of my hykens alone with literally 0 issue... just put together my 2nd last month .. Im 5'11 and this just isnt true. Headrest is a bit low but if u flip it upside down it fits like a glove ..... Y lie?

This thread is weird. I've used this thing for almost 3.5 years since WFH started. I put it together on my own quickly with zero problems. I still use it every day. The only problem I have found is that I tend to lean more to one side so that armrest is getting more worn than the other.

My ass isn't especially hard or sensitive and I love the seat. The mesh is absolutely the way and is way better than the fart-storing variety of cushion.

There is absolutely nothing that comes close in this price range. If you have a wide bottom or are super tall then maybe the Dexley is more suitable for you.

Mesh is the way when it comes to ergonomic productivity seating. "Gaming chairs" are scammy garbage.

Definitely possible to assemble solo. (I did)

Don't know why I'm the first to let you know that it is a neck rest not a head rest. (Also 5'9")

Best birthday present for myself at ~$90(few years back it had a working coupon) as it resolved back pain issues.

One of the best purchases I did. Using it for last 10 years and still going strong. If you need an office chair get this one.

Paid $152 for this back in 2020 while I was WFH. It's seen a lot of use over the years, but still looks and feels like it did four years ago. For $100, it's probably the best chair you can get in this price range.

I have a Herman Miller Aeron at work, so I can compare it directly to that. The HM is overall a better built chair, but comfort wise, I find them to be about the same. I can sit in them both for 8+ hours a day with no pressure points or discomfort. Both chairs adjust in essentially the same way (seat height, arm rest height, and tilt). The arm rests are softer on the HM, but mine tend to unlock and fall all the time vs the Hyken's which stay in place. I do like that the HM flares out more at the shoulders, because sometimes mine hit on the frame of the Hyken depending on how I'm sitting.

Basically, this chair is 6x less expensive but probably 80-90% as comfortable as the Herman Miller Aeon. It probably isn't going to hold up as well as the HM, or keep as much resale value, but again....it's $100.

Mine I bought second hand during the pandemic for $40 USD. At the time it was great. Now after 4 years, the vertical lift hydraulics keeps going down when I sit. I am guessing its normal wear but anyone have same issue? I am thinking about ordering replacement lift for it.

I got this as a gift and the neck rest is unusable, it's between my shoulder blades. I have to slouch horrifically to get it anywhere near where it's supposed to go. I'm 6'1".

Got this deal last time, I love it, a little narrower than my old mesh chair from costco that I got for the same price ( I am 5'6", 140lbs) . The only part I don't like as much is the neck support, wish I can move it back (though the height it perfect for me), but it does not have to be installed, so I think it's definitely worth it at this price.

Anyone with experience of the warranty? I got the chair and the foam underneath the seat broke in less than a year and the seat became unsitable since the foam broke. It will give u a huge pain in the ass if you sit on it for more than 5 mins. Unfortunately it was a gift to me so I didn't know how to deal with the warranty. I'd like to get another one but warranty is definitely a must.

Not for everyone: If you have sensitive bottom, this chair will hurt you. I finally gave my chair away.
I am a really skinny person. Literally no fat. I can't sit on those school chair for prolonged periods of time because of this. I'm assuming this is not something for me.

Please don't buy this chair. I had to return it after 30 days (yes, 14 days is official return policy), coz i started getting cramps in my right leg. The seat doesn't have good depth and if you lean back a little, the whole front seat gets inclines as well. I think that's what caused the problem. Im 5'6", 180lb. Please thoroughly test it if you decide to buy within 14 days. Health is wealth guys.

I don't think it's all about fat/meat. My bottom is plush and I can't sit in the chair for too long else it starts getting numb and pain starts. To avoid this I shift from left to right constantly but this is annoying and not ideal. Since it's mesh, I'm not sure how your bottom would feel against it. I recommend going to Staples and trying it out first. I usually do this but again, it won't help when the pain happens after an hour+.

I got 2 of these chairs for local pickup back in May when it was on sale. At the time there was a $20 off $100 coupon code which made these chairs $80. My son is 5'9" and uses it daily without the headrest. I did the reverse headrest mod but he prefers no headrest.

I bought this chair a couple years ago. I have severe back issues and this chair will put me in the hospital if I sit on it more than an hour. My kids like it.
