This has been $550 on EPP for a while now, and would drop to $500 in the app for me. Now that the price dropped, I'm no longer getting it less in the app, damn it. At least cash back would apply now, which would be $50 using one of the popular sites.
Anyone can recommend a monitor that can run Zoom without a PC/laptop? I believe Samsung rep told people this can do that but people said that isn't the case

Just use a cheap android tablet with the zoom app.
EPP is such a joke. Everyone and their mom seems to have it meanwhile I bought VIP and get crap prices. I'm about ready to enroll in university of Phoenix just to get the discount.
Mostly happy with it, but Look up the scanlines issue before buying, to see if you can ignore it. Matte coating is also very aggressive.
This checks a lot of boxes for me, but my biggest concern is the big curve. I have a very fast rig, but when it comes down to it my use will probably break down to 50-40-10% for browsing/gaming/light office. Any issues with non-gaming? I know a lot is a matter of preference, and I have looked at it in person where the curve seems aggressive.
I need something with a bigger screen for the parents.
This model doesn't have the smart interface. Look into one of the smart monitors like the M50D, M70D, or M70D. It doesn't have the zoom app but it does have a video calling app. They come in 27"-43"
Anyone know how easy it is to return something like this to Samsung? I just bought the Alienware but between work monitors and this OLED, desk space (with a bunch of monitor arms) isn't great. Would be nice to have something that I could use for both work and gaming without fear of burn in and be able to just leave it in place. In a different case I've been happier with QD LCD than OLED. But that was a C8 OLED vs a qn90a(think that model), not really sure how a QD lcd will fare against a QD OLED. I generally don't think a little blooming around objects is a big deal, my older eyes see it a bit even with OLED.
So wouldn't mind buying this and testing it next to the Alienware OLED.
And I can't find out what kind of backlight tech this has on the product page. Surely it would have mini-LED with dimming zones, but with no mention(that I noticed), maybe it doesn't. I also just realized it's matte, I personally really like gloss.

The curve is very aggressive. I got used to it after a month and now windows and spreadsheets don't look weird like they used to.
I have a bad habit of looking off center, like slouching while off center. Curve looks strange there where flat screen wouldn't.
its not for Samsung employees alone. its for any employer purchase plan(EPP) supported companies. Many companies have discounts with most big retailers/online sites for employees. You need to register with your company email address.
LG Partner deals on the other hand is more niche.

Are there certain conditions?
