I need a new miter saw but really don't need it to be cordless. Is this hybrid?

Edit before I get thumbed down for asking a simple question: Is not hybrid.

I have the saw, no cord only cordless, but it works great. Just make sure it slides smoothly and you are good, got mine for like $150 and never looked back

Bought one maybe two years ago.
It's a great tool for the homeowner.
Build a fence, etc.
I'm getting old, and my DeWalt 12" sliding mitre was getting heavy to pull out for small jobs.
The three handles are just right for lifting.
This machine is perfect.

Lowest was 150 early the year. Do need a 4ah+ high output battery otherwise may not have the power for pressure treated 2x6

It's a weaker saw and bogs down when cutting larger stock. But with that said if you go slow you should be good to go. I like that it is light and easy to lug around. I haven't used it much for actual miter cuts that need to be absolutely dead on but for baseboards it's fine. Also a side note: it's been $200 for awhile now.

Saw some in Hawaii (in Kapolei)at $200 when I was there 3weeks ago. I got mine about two months ago in Sacramento CA.

I owned this for several years. I have now donated my corded mitre saw. This does everything a corded one does plus it is portable. Get this instead of the 7 1/4 sliding mitre saw. That one is a toy. This one is the real deal.

Have Ryobi miter saw and would like to get rid from it since it's impossible to have 90 degree cuts. Also it wobbles a bit.
Garbage.

I own this saw and have a few points to add:
- It works fine. For $200 it is great value.
- You need a High Performance battery for this saw. The 2 Ah battery you got with your Ryobi drill isn't going to work. So if you don't have already have a suitable battery you will need to buy one. [Update: ignore this - someone has pointed out that this deal includes a 4 Ah High Performance battery and charger, which makes this an incredible deal.]
- I mainly bought it because I needed to make a lot of 12" cross cuts, and it does that well. You can't do that with a 12" miter saw.
- You can cut through a 4x4 with this saw.

All that said, I wish I hadn't bought it, but only because I have limited storage space and this thing is big: 32" x 20" x 18" high! But that's not really a criticism of the saw itself - that was my fault.

It does come with a 4aH battery at least. Not the largest and most powerful battery but better than a 2aH.
