Good deal for the 1/2" one, I think more people can use the 1/2" torque wrench than the 3/8". If you then buy a 1/4", you actually cover more than the whole 3/8" torque range. And for wheel changes you need the 1/2" anyway.

In theory it sounds good but you need socket adapters and 1/4 handle is short=less leverage. Best to get the dedicated tool for purpose.

The 1/4 inch torque wrench is for light work in inch-pounds. The half inch wrench here goes down to 10 foot-pounds, which is plenty low enough.
