I have a two monitor setup but the older one is starting to lose brightness. Wanted to try a 4k monitor (never bought 4k before) to watch movies. Will this be okay at 2-3 feet away?

4K movies is definitely better than non 4k. And the biggest advantage of 4K monitor is the text display.

Aparently this LG is a 2024 model - the specs are a little different than other LG 27" 4k monitors in the under $300 range.

the mini m4 is great, im a very basic user but glad i traded in my 2020 mini m1 & got $230 apple trade in for it. should be future proofed for a few years or so...as far as the monitor goes this LG bargain 27" 4k will go with a 3yr old costco 27" 1080p LG monitor.
