The G7 32" is not on the main Black Friday page but it is also on sale for $400.01 with edu/epp. If anyone has been looking for that one.
Its always so weird how newer monitors are supposed to get better reviews, tempted to go for this instead. 2 for $800 seems to be as slick as the single 57" 4k even though thats likely a better experience
The OLED will have better contrast, this will be brighter. The OLED will have a faster response time (like 1/10th of a millisecond instead of 1 millisecond).
is this better or the Dell 32 4K monitor G3223Q, for about same price.
Depends on what you want. This is curved VA with higher refresh and a FALD backlight, vs a flat IPS with lower refresh and limited/no local dimming. For gaming with a single monitor this wins IMO, but if you have a multi monitor setup for office use or need viewing angles and backlight uniformity to be good, then the Dell wins.

i think i'm going with Dell since I can't get the EPP price :\
I am trying to buy a new monitor and can't decide between these two (one of them is similar to the one listed here on Slickdeals). Any recommendations on which one I should choice or also taking other suggestions. Any help would be appreciated.
1. LG 45GR65DC-B Ultragear Curved Gaming Monitor 45-Inch 32:9 QHD 200Hz 1ms UltraWide Display AMD FreeSync Premium Pro VESA DisplayHDR 600 HDMI 2.1 x2 DP UBS x3 Tilt/Height/Swivel Stand - Black
These monitors are trash. The G7 always had a flickering issue(look it up) and Samsung says it's normal. Mine was replaced 5 times and still an issue. Let's not even talk about dead pixels. Expensive paperweight for sure.

The LG UltraGear offers superior refresh rate and response time for competitive gaming with an immersive ultrawide OLED display, while the Samsung Neo G7 provides higher resolution and brightness with its Mini-LED panel, better suited for vibrant visuals and productivity. So it really comes down to what you'll be using the monitor for and what is important to you.
I've got this monitor at this price before and it's really been fantastic. I use it primarily for work and Xbox series X. No complaints, great price if you can swing the edu discount!

I have them side-by-side, Neo G8 for myself and G3223Q for my wife. To me, only similarity is that they are both 32" 4K HDR monitors, lol. One is flat, and another is curved, not just curved but waaaay more aggressive curve than the most in this segment. One is 144Hz IPS with natural, easy-to-eye color profile, while another has 240Hz VA with vibrant, popping up color profile. One is limited local dimming, while another is FALD with 1000+ zones.
They are usually in different price range as well. G3223Q has been in this price range since its release, while Neo G8 had been way up there at $1000+ only came down to this range recently, so I think you shouldn't really cross shop them as they are just too different.
