Not a vet but I have a bunch of these drives. There was buggy firmware that caused these drives to fail prematurely in early 2023. Please make sure you have the latest firmware before you start using it. You can use Samsung Magician to check/update the firmware.

I would assume Samsung is shipping with the most up to date firmware but you never know.

Finally got my order (got it shipped to me)....only to realized I bought the EVO Plus instead of the PRO. :/

Didnt pay attention, oh well. Slightly slower but still happy. Time to swap out my 2TB in my laptop.

Well, I was notified my order was ready for pickup last night. Just received today. I really thought it was going to be cancelled after the delayed email from Samsung.

Still waiting for my pick up date which is still Dec 10th on the Samsung site.

Is there a shipping notification when Samsung finally sends the item to Best Buy for pickup? Or is it just a notification that your order is ready for pick up at Best Buy?

The original pickup date when I ordered was December 10th, but it was changed to the 9th. But I received an email this morning saying it was ready, and I just picked up mine. This was definitely the best deal of Black Friday this year.

My order was cancelled, but they reissued the coupon code......that expires on 12/29
Contacted Samsung and they couldn't reactivate the coupon

The coupon didn't work. Says expired when I tried to use it.
I contacted Samsung and they said they will try to get me another coupon code, but they emailed that they couldn't because it was only for Black Friday.

I just got a notification (from Samsung) that the drive is available for pick-up (at Best Buy). FWIW, it's one day earlier than originally estimated.

My original BB pickup date was December 10th. I havent received any further email from Samsung following the Order Confirmation email from 11/28. And no email from BB re: pick up availability. I have a BBY barcode and Samsung has told me to contact BB to inquire about pick-up status.

EDIT: Supposed to arrive at the BB store on 12/9, but still in transit.
