I have Klipsch as well, 7.1 config. Atmos was not that widely adopted when I set it up 8 years ago.

Planning to slowly build up to 7.2.4 (4 ceiling), that's one of the reasons I went with RZ50. I hope a Fosi should do the trick.
You sold me, btw. Pulled the trigger over an hour ago. I'll eat the $20 to return the Integra. Only reason being that I'm going to be using this in a pretty big den area. I guess I could demo them both and return the one I don't like. I'd have to check adorama's return policy though.

Didn't need it, but decided to pull the trigger with the 5.25% cash back. Upgrading from an RZ820, so am curious to see how much the DIRAC makes a difference.

Pour one out for my poor soul. I jumped on the eBay deal. I did however use my eBay CC for 5% cash back so it nets out to be about the same.
What's the difference between this deal and ebay? Aren't they same price and condition? I am confused.

Ugh. And I just paid $75 to ship my Pioneer vsx 305 for warranty repair (replaced the HDMI board, no surprise) It was open box and I paid $750 for that. The run on receiver sales happened shortly after that. Keep in mind there are only like 4 authorized repair shops for Onkyo, Pioneer, Integra in the country. So shipping could be more depending on where you live. I sent from Miami to Georgia.

If your speakers are well placed (distance/angle) according to the dolby.com guidelines, I would say Dirac a is nice to have (not mandatory). But for most people, speakers are aligned to room dimensions. This is where you would see the difference.

Bought the rz-50 last year and I absolutely love it. Running in a 5.2.4 arrangement with the receiver powering the atmos and everything else with discrete amps. Dirac live is amazing, covers from 20-20,000 Hz.

🤫
If it's any consolation, the ebay deal comes with an extended 2yr warranty, making it "Four More Years" 😊

That was me. Saw it for 650 recently and had that in my cart and was about to go when the deal went all Guam on us, thanked my lucky starts at eBay, but then brought it on home through Adorama. Did have to cancel the buydig order to get free shipping and cut the taxes collected in half which was weird but I guess you find out when you find out. Was the 650 deal a refurb?

Keep in mind that Integra does have a 5-year warranty while Onkyo is 3 years. I just got the Integra 3.4, delivered today, but I'm considering getting this instead for $171 more. Of course that means I would be compelled to buy 2 more speakers and amp to do 7.2.4. Believe Adorama will charge me the shipping back, which is likely $60 if I was to pay for it myself via FedEx.
You don't have to get more speakers, I'm not planning on getting more speakers. This has plenty of power for L/R front plus everything else shifting 850 watts around. That's a lot of juice. For 171 I went with the juice. The other feature that is here that isn't on the 3.4 is that the subs are L and R, not both mono, though you can set them both mono. If you set them both mono then you place the two subs such that you wind up with no dead spots. With subs L and R, you can stack your subs under your main speakers and create a gigantic hybrid double ass monster up front so you can really get that Mannheim all Steam Rolled up in your Christmas this year

Check Bestbuy.com if you're ok with an open box. I just scored an "Open box excellent" for $520 shipped.

I appreciate the advice on the subs. I will have to look into trying that, as my front LRs are active speakers.

True, I don't have to get more speakers, but knowing myself, I would want to do two side surrounds eventually, and then I will piss my wf off by putting them inwall 🤣. With me just getting the 3.4 (yesterday/setting up today) and having to ship it back at my cost, I am likely going to stick with it unless it sounds terrible, as it's $184 (difference plus taxes) more than I (used an Adorama gift card I was gifted, have to pay to it ship back, and already buying a new TV and just bought two rear surround speakers so my four ceiling speakers can be atmos (will be here in a week).

Both deals are great. The RZ50 at $750 is an amazing deal, and I like that for two subs, they don't have to be in mono. We mostly do movies/streams and games.

If, by chance, the Integra 3.4 is terrible, I have an extended return window and will await a deal on the RZ50 in case it is no longer going on at Adorama as I can pull out my Denon 3312ci while I wait.

If I only just avoided looking for more deals after I bought what I needed, I would be in blissful ignorance.šŸ˜€ Got to love Slickdeals.

Didn't see any open box when I searched. Was this for in-store or shipped?

You are going to love it. FWIW, when I set mine up the recommended method was running Dirac on a laptop or PC. This produced very good results for me. There were some good write up's on how to properly setup speaker gain before correction. Good luck.

Laptop vs Mobile app has a difference?
