This is a very good deal but at the end of the day if I spend $600 on a monitor I don't need then I lost. What to do

Jumped on this. I haven't been following for so long but OLED and under $600 is a steal. Thanks.

Even the non OLED model is worth this price.

Are you using the included HDMI cable? This should really only be an issue if either your HDMI cable is too old (doesn't support later specs that do higher resolutions) or your video card can't output that resolution.
The monitor only came with DisplayPort not HDMI.
My laptop is super stretched and can't get anything close to the proper resolution that doesn't drive my eyes crazy.

Also does this have Picture by Picture to set up two computers at once?

It only came with display port which works fine but I have 2 laptop that needs connection. I tried USBC to HDMI and HDMI to HDMI. The HDMI port just won't work.

Yes, picture by picture with 2 monitors work great.

I can't get the HDMI to output 5120x1444. Anyone has same issue?
Me, too. Neither my laptop nor Dell docking station will output 5120x1440. I can only get 5120x1080 and the only other 5120 option is 5120x2160 (in windows on my laptop). Tried a different hdmi cable, but that didnt resolve it. I want to try a DP cable, but there's only 1 DP input and thats connected to my main PC.

This laptop and dock did output 3x 3440x1440 using 2 dp-to-hdmi cables and 1 hdmi cable.

Got the monitor. Tested it and had no dead pixels. Played some Cyberpunk in HDR, which looked great. Less than a week in and it developed a stuck pixel right in the middle, which is noticeable during normal use and gaming. I will talk to Samsung support but I am not optimistic. I am worried they will either say not covered or tell me to return/rebuy. Don't want to lose out on the sweet deal (just under $500 + tax).

Initiate a return asap and that gives you an additional 15 days to see if they will support their product or return the product for a replacement.

Finally got HDMI to output 5120x1440 with a software hack found on Reddit. It's great

I usually just check for dead pixels by going to this website https://lcdtech.info/en/tests/dead.pixel.htm Browse it in full screen mode/F11, click to change the color displayed and look carefully for dead pixels.

I tried some of the software solutions for stuck pixels that try to rapidly change the colors around it (Jscreenfix, pixel healer, haven't tried the YouTube videos) to no avail. I don't think I am going to try the manual fixes (pixel massage = wrap a pencil eraser in microfiber and gently rub the screen in the area of the stuck pixel).

It sucks though that the panel was perfect but developed a stuck pixel within a week. Not only is it distracting as it is near the center of view, but it makes me wonder whether there is a defect (micro trauma?) that will cause more pixels to fail over time.

Contacted support about the stuck pixel. Got a bit of run around but eventually they said I can return and rebuy, and they will adjust for the price difference after it ships. They offered $50 if I kept the monitor (which would make it $448 before tax) but I opted for a replacement since I know the pixel will drive me crazy as it is bright green and near the center of the screen.

set it up yesterday. had a 34" ultrawide 3440x1440 DecoGear VA that appears noticeably crisper (text) than this Samsung. have it at native resolution on a 1660 Super (displayport). 125% scaling, re-did cleartype setup a couple times, tried increasing sharpness in monitor menu. still not as crisp.

anyone have any more tips on increasing text clarity?

Were you able to get 120hz refresh rate? Could you post a screenshot of your extension block and detailed resolutions? This is not working for me even after restarting the driver

I used 60hz and that's my work laptop and not for gaming. I followed the reddit screen shot and setup.

Using USBC to display on personal which has no issue at all
