How much was the warranty? Best buy total covers up to 2 years if membership is active. At $180, that's $360 for 2 years. Seems worth it especially if you use the other $2k in gift cards as it will cover that purchase for 2 years as well.

This is a 2023 model. They have not yet come out with the 100" version of the 2024, U8N. The U8K is 2023.
I almost purchased the 100" U8K for Christmas but instead decided to get the TCL equivalent as the 2024 is out. It is 98" instead of 100" and I watched a ton of reviews and most had the TCL having a better and brighter picture than this model.
I purchased the TCL from a deal on shared on this site. $3,000.

Ok. I did not understand this deal. This is just an amazing deal. I shopped for a month before pulling the trigger on the TCL 98". I paid $3,000. This is basically half that. I am sure they are trying to get rid of these to make space for the 2024. U8N

Doesn't the TV come with a 2 yr warranty from Hisense? Wife just said it was too big (am waiting on the 75u8n to drop below $1200) so this is a no go. Already have membership to keep Applecare on family's new iPhones. Current refrigerator is 22 years old, so could use gift cards to upgrade that (although it's still running fine and new stuff is trash these days).

Fyi.. this is a 2023 model. Hisense didn't release a 2024 version. Still an excellent TV with great reviews.
