I see many individuals are planning on trying to use the gift cards to buy an RTX 5080 or 5090 gpu when it gets released near the end of this month or early Feb and then reselling it for $1k plus profit.

Nice deal! Breakdown for me comes out to about $2100. Keep in mind the BB warranty is only good while you're a subscriber so you'll have to pay the $179 a second time to get the full 2 years warranty.

$4100 after tax and BB total for 2 years (pay for second year at renewal)
- 1700 to sell gift cards (worst case)
- 300 Amazon gift card redemption through my Cap1 card.

How much better is this tv compared to the hisense u7? I am moving in 4-5 months and plan to get a 100" I was planning on spending about $2k on the one below. Should I buy this one and just hold onto it for when I move? Seems like a great deal

I'm pretty sure this TV has been $3k for a month or two.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this but BB has had the same sale prices on Hisense TVs for months. A friend and I are looking to get a U8 85" and now BB has the TVs all listed at a normal price, and include a BB GC to make it close to the normal "sale" price it's been at for months

F BB if this is their new model

No, the TV drops in price to 3k. This tv is 4k, you have to spend 4k.

If you don't want to worry memberships or gift cards, and save 1k then wait.

If you want this deal and the gift cards then take this deal. It's not a bad deal.

Lol. You just experienced BF/CM/Holiday deal season the last month or so. It's over. Now the deals will be geared towards making room for 2025 models. Don't worry. similar deals to last month will come soon. Can't be on sale 24/7/365

This TV was already $2600. And $2800. And $2997 this past month, no gift cards and for most of it no memberships. . .

just ordered

total: $3880 after tax for both tv and $180 membership

with

$40 cash back
$350 in bb rewards
$2000 in gift cards

was going to spend the money anyway, so $1490 for the tv and membership + 2 yr bb warranty

Did I miss something? People are purchasing the $180 Best Buy membership but it looks like you only need a $49 one (the plus one) to qualify for the reduced price.
