bb are frustrating
I'm coming from LG OLED TV. Try this setting and make minor adjustments based on your room lighting.
Horrible service. If the first chat said no I would be much happier with much less time wasted. It really bugs me that they can say one thing to me, not honor what they say, and there is 0 accountability for doing so.

I had pricematched amazon for 2999$ the same day. All went well got charged 2999$ plus tax and 2000$gc.
All was fine. Checked my bestbuy card today and have another charge 2 weeks later for 2150$. The difference of the TV at full price. Check my order , it reverted back to full price. My rewards page shows the correct order amount of 2999$+tax. Talked to 3 reps so far and no one will fix it. So not sure exactly what to do. Got a 100" tv ill just return , but its on my damn wall in my basement.

In any case after haggling on chat for a post PM every time I check email lol, the membership $1500 discount seems to have tripped the CSR's ability to adjust the first day (before the company wide memo) and they later transitioned to "$1499.99" paid by customer routine
In reality optimal (and I snoozed though this idea lol or was hedging in my head lol) was to order without membership and price match down from full $5k. GIft cards were still there just not the $3500 price. Then get it transferred to your real account if you have pricier membership with protection at say day 55. Might wash the GC association as well. Don't see this happening any time soon again. Sure some heads rolled from this bonehead holiday party idea

Nope didnt cancel total tech. Ive been a customer with bestbuy for decades. Elite member forever and totaltech since inception. I spoke to 1 person on chat first and they said the 2000$ giftcard was the difference in price lol. Totally not understanding the issue. I was forwarded to a "supervisor" and they took their stance and said nothing they could do. Price is what I paid.
I ended up calling the totaltech line and spoke to a nice lady. I made the mistake of not saving my pricematch transcript. However she read back my conversation with the pricematch person at the time word for word and showed exactly the deal they sent me 2999$ with the 2000$gc and free install etc. However there was nothing she could do at the time and created a case and said they will get back to me early next week.
When the TV got delivered the guys refused to bring it down in my basement out of the box. So I had to do it myself w/ my wife. A bestbuy rep called me a week later asking when they could o the delivery / install. I explained what happened and how I did it myself. He "felt bad" and said hed give me a 100$ refund on my card due to what I dealt with.
What triggered the 2nd charge looks to be something to do w/ that refund. On the same exact time I received the 100$ refund , the remaining 2100$ difference from the full price hit my card. As a second charge. My bestbuy order changed from 3100$ to the full $5300. However my rewardzone section on the site still shows the actual price paid of 3100$ and the points to go along with it. My totaltech plan also shows the purchase price of 2999$. My email receipt shows the same.
I disputed the extra charge on my card and sent all my documentation in. Ill see where that goes but thats up to 90 days out. Hopefully bestbuy fixes this. For some reason my return period is only 14 days instead of 60 for some reason the lady on the phone couldnt tell me why. Likely due to the mixup as well. Problem is , I was happy with the TV , got it all mounted so destroyed the mountain of carboard / styrofoam and no longer have the packaging to return it anyways. Not to mention taking out a 165 lb tv out of my basement would be rough.
I hate to admit it but I spend alot at Bestbuy and if this isnt fixed they have likely lost a customer. Ill update for your entertainment when I get one lol.
