I work from home and owned this for a year. I thought it was awesome at first. Very stylish and comfortable. But then the noise started. There was a loud creaking noise that would happen every time I adjusted my sitting position. I called customer support who were great about sending me some replacement parts but it didn't fix anything. Eventually I ended up giving it away.

I grabbed it last time. I'm 6'2 and the neck rest lands on my upper back/traps. It's only rotational adjustable not height adjustable. I have to slouch to use the neck rest. Not a very comfortable chair.

IDK why so many negative comments, I have two of these chairs. They have been great. I got it for 135 one year then this Christmas it was on sale got it for 79.99. the chair is better then any of those gaming chairs. If you need a new chair this is the one to get. I got both in red. If someone has squeaking issues two things. Either overweight or didn't tighten the screw with Allen key correctly. My two older teenagers love it.

I did the obvious choice and bought a chair. I may not have money for rent this month but at least my back is happier.
Now I have to fork over another $200 to buy a headrest attachment.

yeah. I have two as well. They are fine. The one that's 4 years old has a few creaks, but nothing bad. My work office chair is much louder.

Anyone else having issues with them cancelling orders on in store pickups?

First store says 1 available. Order was cancelled an hour later. I try another store that says 3 available, order cancelled within an hour again. Frustrating.

How's the lumber support adjusted.
It moves up and down at the back of the chair but there's no locking mechanism so it doesn't stay in place. I occasionally find mine in lowest position even after setting it to the highest possible.

I have this for 5 years worked well for those years taking a lot of abuse and had no such problems. It won't last 10 years, but definitely worth the money for 5 years.

A chair is like clothing everyone's body is going to be different; my recommendation is to go to staples and try multiple chairs to see what is right for you before buying. It took seconds before I knew the chair was a right fit.

+1 Don't get this chair if you are over maybe 5' 6" unless you want to use it without the headrest.

i'm 5'8 and the neck rest falls where a neck rest should, it's not a head rest... i also don't lean back in chairs, so i never use it.

that said, the material is cheesy plastic, everywhere. the mesh is plastic and feels like crap if you wear shorts, the head rest mechanism is crap plastic and feels like you're going to rip it off when you adjust it, the wheels are normal crap prepare to replace them with skate style wheels if you want to move around nicely. i didn't put the arms on, never been a fan of arms on chairs... but they looked like normal garbage material that would wear out quickly.

it's what i'd expect for a 100$ chair, worth 100$ these days... is you would like something nicer, spend the 3-4x and get something that will last forever, these won't.
what would you recommend getting?

Just placed an order this minute for local pickup. Had 16$ in "staple $'s" so it was 89.03 I was going to use I bot a, as getting a gift card first will save you an additional 5%

Edit:
Picked it up and it was an easy assembly. I'm 5'10 and wife is 5'7 and comfortable for either.
