I was going to get a set of DEK, but Amazon isn't offering free non-Prime shipping on it. The reviews aren't that great to be risking purchasing two sets.

Variety pack shown here has 1 box of decaf out of 6. Might be undesirable for those who only drink caffeinated coffee.

AMZN always has free shipping above 35, are you sure the seller is them?

Right. Which means I'd have to get two sets to get free shipping. But I only needed one.

Not having Prime saves me a lot of money. I avoid impulse-buying unnecessary stuff because of the extra shipping fee.

Just and FYI, I ordered the Bright and Floral 6 box for the same price and it was terrible. It's very light and flavorless... unlike peets or nespresso or Starbucks capsules. It basically made a K cup light coffee in an espresso cup. Maybe the batch I got was bad possibly but this was my experience with the Lavazza Capsules. I tried 3 of Capsules in 1 box each with the same watery results before giving up.

I got these, and they weren't bad. Is it better than drip or a kcup? 100%. Are there much better-tasting pods out there? 100%. If you're trying to save money, these are fine. Not great, but fine. I'd get them again.

Sometimes I'd like to have an evening coffee, for the taste of coffee but not affect my sleep later in the night. Had a friend over who had a policy of no caffeinated drinks after noon, and didn't have decaf pods at hand.

Agreed, the decaf pods are arguably the ones I least contemplate drinking on usual days, but there are occasions where only Decaf would work - and for those, its always good to have them handy.

Are there any 3P pods you'd recommend that are as good as, or better than Nespresso's own? I've tried L'Or and felt at least some of them (Colombia Single Origin and Onyx blend) were good.
