PSA: Be careful if you're scheduled to pickup on Friday. The activation timer may starts on Friday but the CS aren't availble on weekends, which means you only have whatever hours left on Friday to attempt cancelling the line.

Nothing to add about this deal, but I got this phone a couple months ago and I have to say it's the best phone I've ever used. My wife got a Iphone 16 pro max and the camera on the Pixel 9 pro XL puts it to shame - especially when zoomed in. And the battery is usually around 40% when I go to bed at night after heavy use all day.

So if you're on the fence about this phone, don't be - you'll love it!

Still had stock in Daly City, CA so there's still some available in the bay area region.
Got the deal using a new google voice number and opening account w/ATT. Had to pay google $3 to port out the number.
Instructions on how to unlock google voice # for port out: https://support.google.com/voice/...67#xferout
They were offering $260 for a pixel6a. That's more than what I paid for the phone three years ago!
Hopefully they let me xfer everything to the new phone before handing in my 6a.
Cancelling w/ATT I'm assuming will be a bit of a PITA but overall deal seems worth it.

FYI, I ordered this phone last week when it was $599.99. I was able to get Best Buy to price match to the lower $399.99 price. I also traded in an MetroPCS iPhone 13 for $400, so the Pixel 9 XL was basically free.

Always port out your number which cancels the account automatically. I suggest using Numberbarn.

I would place an order and pick it up in store, what if I go with verizon what would be the process, I do not have an extra number to port. So which one is better AT&T or Verizon
