Here is a comparison, should help.

In the practical audible sense, it's a pretty small difference in my experience.
If you do have fairly inefficient speakers, you're better off investing the $200 into external power.
Internal power is usually not a good investment& a weak spot in that scenario in my experience.
I'm planning on upgrading my TV (Samsung RU8000 series) to an OLED/something with VRR, and need a new receiver since I don't think my current one (Onkyo TX-NR656) supports VRR.
I like that this has component/composite inputs, just in case I decide to hook up some older consoles to it.
I do use it a little differently than most. This model has Onkyo and Pioneer equivalents, but this Integra is the only one with pre-outs for 7 speakers (most less expensive receivers only have front L and R preamp outputs).
I wanted an inexpensive processor to drive my 115# older Emotiva beast of an amplifier, and this works great and includes DIRAC without the need to buy the license separately. Adding this one component made such a significant improvement to my home theater system, far exceeding any hopes I had for it.
The only downside for me is that the output voltage must be a little low for my amp, since I can turn the volume all the way up and I know there's still a little more to be had. Granted, that's already ridiculously loud (and clean) but so much louder than my wife ever wants to be around.
I wanted to offer my honest thoughts in this review. I don't see how you can go wrong buying this Integra, since it offers so much for so little in cost - and it provides a solid upgrade path should you wish to add an external amplifier down the road.

Going from 100 watts to 120 watts is almost imperceivable.
Hell there is only a 30db swing from 0.1watts to 100 watts.
