With the advent of A1EVO this is a lot of value for 3800 imo.

I would point out:
A1EVO solves Dirac especially since the "FREE" one on the RZ50 doesn't include sub correction/integration.
Even with Dirac's sub correction RC(DLBC) which both offer.
The RZ50 only has mono sub outs, the 3800 has 4 independent!
Good luck hearing the 200WATTS, 3volts & 2.5kg difference especially the weight.
The pre outs you paid for pretty much negates all that.
Besides the monos subs the RZ50 doesn't include all channels assignable, pre amp mode all independent and if you're going by measurements.
It's been measured and found that the RZ50 has a power protection issue(limp mode).
The warranty I agree, that's IF you ever needed it.
I've had several Denons including friends/family that never used it.
If Dirac was the priority I would look at the RZ30 which is actually $750 OB right now IF you don't need 11 channels that is.
After several auditions which included the RZ50 and experience with higher models like the RZ70.
I went with the 3800 at $1k and added full suite Dirac.
Using it as a pre pro, in my experience it's easily better than the RZ50, even better than the RZ70!
It cost me less than the RZ70($1560), which doesn't include DLBC!
If you're on a budget you can easily get nearly the same thing for $20 with A1EVO, it's a game changer!
It even has 2 more sub outs, independent pre amp mode and highly rumored to get Dirac's newest RC(ART) in the near future.
None of this is on both the RZ50 & RZ70 or can be added to it either!

A much deal, in my opinion would have been the Pioneer LX805 when it was $1499.00..if you are bringing the RZ70 in the equation
One has to give both units credit for having a far more capable amp and power supply... They are in another world from the Denon X3800 or Onkyo RZ50
From what I understand you have to go all the way up to the Denon A1H to get an amp/power supply as capable as the Pioneer LX805/ Onkyo RZ70
If you are on a budget , in my opinion, then buying that Integra 3.4 that keeps popping up for $579 with the 5 year warranty sounds like a great plan
Does that " budget" buyer really care about DLBC.or ART... That is doubtful , if you ask me...especially with the speakers/subs that are always popular here on SD
That is your opinion on Audyssey A1 EVO versus Dirac

$60 difference compared to LX805 and still have the same advantages over the RZ70.
Why isn't Dirac's subwoofer correction/integration a benefit?
You keep saying A1EVO is my opinion.
You constantly bring up AVS as a place of expert knowledge!
You should know there are big threads over there with MANY people with the same sentiment. 🤔
Again here is one in case you somehow missed it! 👍🏻

No way I would personally buy this over the RZ50 at $750
