The 57 inch Odyssey Neo G9 stands out as a huge productivity monitor that can replace dual screens, with Picture by Picture and screen splitting making it easy to keep work laptop and personal PC side by side. The extra width and 4K resolution are especially useful for spreadsheets, cross referencing, and daily office work, and gaming performance looks excellent with a strong GPU. The main drawbacks are that the far edges are less comfortable to use, it can run very hot for some setups, and native high refresh needs serious graphics power. It is a strong fit when desk space and GPU headroom are not limiting factors.

  • Picture-by-Picture can split the setup into separate work and personal areas for multitasking without extra monitors.

  • The monitor can deliver strong gaming visuals and performance when paired with a capable GPU.

  • The monitor's single-screen real estate can improve office productivity by reducing the need to juggle multiple displays.

  • The 57-inch size can make at-a-glance cross-referencing more convenient than clicking and dragging between windows.

  • PayPal Pay in 4 discounts can be denied, and the offer criteria may be unclear during checkout.

  • The monitor can run extremely hot, and the parabolic shape may make that heat uncomfortable during use.

  • The monitor may not wake from sleep using mouse or keyboard input, which can require disabling sleep settings.

  • Native high-refresh gaming can require a beefy GPU, since high refresh at native resolution is demanding.

How do you see if you are getting the PayPal 20% cashback offer at checkout when you select pay in 4? I'm not seeing it specifically and I did activate the offer
when you click on paypal the popup window will show that option, if it doesn't either you haven't add that reward to activate it yet or you're using a Paypal business account which doesn't qualify for this, also it needs to be below $1,250 after tax NOT $1,500 so not sure why I saw threads on max been $1,500, maybe just me Smilie

I am interested in this monitor. is it possible to return 24 inch monitor? Any one tried?
24 inch monitor is $107 on their website and with 10% off it is around $95. Better to sell on FB market place. You cannot return from a bundle offer.

Thanks etuner. I applied the promo and got it down to $1,213.53 after tax and PayPal Pay in 4 denied me. Did you have a similar issue? I have great credit (over 800) so I don't understand why.

Only thing to keep in mind if you get this is if you're screen sharing you can either share your entire screen (impossible for others to view) or share one application at a time. Fantastic monitor otherwise just something to keep in mind.

Great monitor - worth it. However, it is INSANELY hot and it's parabolic shape radiates you with an uncomfortable level of heat. Turning the brightness down does help, but it does not solve the issue. I've tried a number of things to help, the best I've been able to come up with is a fan blowing across the front of the screen.
Would I buy again? Of course, the heat is super annoying though.
What brightness are you running at? 24 is bright enough for me. The monitor is slightly warm to the touch but I've never felt or noticed it "radiating heat". It uses about 70 watts for me. That's on the high end for a monitor but expected given it's the equivalent of two 27" 4k monitors.

EDIT: I just realized a lot may depend on how far you sit from the monitor. My head is about 26" from the screen.

I'm using this for productivity not watching Game of Thrones and trying to make out figures in the night scenes. 24 is at the threshold where the brightness starts to blind me and I see after images when looking away.
