Buying direct from Samsung is awful, except for the deals. This monitor is absolutely amazing for work from home and gaming. OLED does offer better color, but this monitor looks fantastic. I recommend anyone who purchase it to use a desk or walmount to save the space from the large stand legs .

I've been using this monitor for the past year, and I absolutely love it. Do you have any mounts you recommend? I can't remember the brand, but the mount was $300-$400. Maybe it was Ergotron.

I have the bewiser mount from Amazon and I like it. Been using it now for the past few months no issues.

Mount prices have dropped dramatically thankfully with a lot more options than a year ago.

I have a $25 single point mount on a stud from when this monitor first came out. If you don't need to swing it around and move it up and down, you don't need anything crazy

Totally agree with buying from Samsung being terrible. In my area, they contract third party companies to deliver and it's a constant fiasco as they consistently do not show up in their delivery window or are no call/no show. I've had them show up at nearly 9PM for a 4-8P delivery after they didn't show up at all for the prior day's 4-8P delivery.

Add in the 15 day return window (not extended during the holidays this year) and their restock fees and it's something to consider before moving forward on a purchase with them.

I have many other stories and poor experiences as well but the delivery of the monitors in particular has always been a freaking nightmare.

Would recommend folks to look at open box if available. Scored one for 480 in good condition and another for 650 in excellent. Got the PayPal 20% offer to stack as well.

Been using heavy duty ultraarm and it is indeed $30 cheaper now than what I paid.

Who from? Best buy? Amazon? I'd like to get 2 of these, but on a discount and not from Samsung. I'd probably buy 2 now at this price from Costco, but probably wouldn't think twice at the prices you're talking about, even from Samsung!

Yeah best buy. They unfortunately don't ship them anymore. You have to pickup now. Was checking online every day to see if they would appear back in stock. Paid off.

I have this monitor. I personally would not recommend getting 2 of these. Most mounts cannot stack these. And even the ones that can will require you to put the bottom one very close to the table surface as the vertical pole or mount is not long enough. You have to remember that this is a VA panel. The angle matters A LOT and the top one needs to be angled down or you will get washed out colors. Its not oled or ips. There's other things like app compatibility and gpu but for me personally this is why I wouldn't dual stack these. I would rather get a smaller screen on top.

I'd buy 5 if money was of no consequence. I have 5 desks in my office and am frequently bouncing between 4 different workstations daily for work. My needs are pretty niche. I appreciate the heads up though.

I have actually used the MSI mag mt201 for over a year.

https://a.co/d/afepcBC

The listing says 49 inches but if you look at the weight limit it is actually much better than most of the higher priced options.

Mounting this mounter is a two person job though. Under no circumstances do it alone!! Its simply to wide. You need someone to hold the monitor as you find the correct tilt for the monitor and then you tighten that sucker down HARD to prevent any saging. This is the case for all the mounts not just this one. The MSI provides a pretty heavy duty plate to tighten to the desk, but I also bought a additional strengthing plate because mine is mounted pretty close to the edge and I wanted to spread the load as much as possible.
