There's a few steps, but it can be replicated (tried it several times).

1. Go incognito browser. Go to the samsung black friday deals. Go to the monitors section.
2. Scroll down a bit and hover your mouse towards closing the browser. You'll get a prompt for a 10% off monitors coupon. Sign up for the SMS text.
3. You might have to go through a few reps for this step. Chat or call the sales rep. Tell them you had a 5% off discount code that's not working anymore. See if they can make you a new cart. Open the cart they send. Save the promo code.
4. Login to your first responder/EPP account. Add the monitor and free monitor to your cart.
5. Apply both of your promo codes.
6. Apply 25SOPNOV10 promo code for an additional % off. I've read this works with First Responders and EPP, possibly a few others. Does not seem to work with Edu.
7. Total should come out to $1000.38

Bonus:
1. Use the 20% cash back PayPal pay later (if you have that offer).
2. Use the secret 10% "post-delivery" trick.
3. Get VIP Advantage. You will get a whooping 30011 points ($300.11) back to use for future Samsung purchases.
4. Use a popular CB site or a few extra % back.

Ultimately:
Here's the net cost if you did it right:
~$700.
If you count your points as cash, then it's only $400 if you already have VIP Advantage, otherwise $550!
This works for all of their monitors currently. I've priced the 27" G81SF at ~$215 after points. Likewise, the 32" G81SF would likely run around ~$315.

GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY SLICK DEALING!

It works even better. I could stack the 10% texting code and 5% rep code along with this credit.
Thank you very much!

In w11, I tried opening new browser incognito in both edge 7 chrome as well as (ctrl+shift+N). Cant get past step 2 as the popup window you describe doesn't happen.

I read that each point is roughly equivelant to $0.005.

How did u do the math for -> 30011 points ($300.11)??

Curious about this too - I would think this would net $150 in savings so it pays for the VIP program itself, but no additional savings.

That said, this is definitely a slickdeal and I have been able to replicate with the $1000 price in my cart - debating on pulling the trigger.

It's actually $0.01 for VIP

Thanks! I had missed the pricing mistake by seconds so I was bummed. This is not that good, but still closer to it than I've ever seen.

  • Customer rep said she gave me the discount with a cart link, but sadly it was not more than the initial EPP/EDU offer. After trying and talking for a while I gave up, couldn't be bothered to try it for hours but YMMV.
  • The 10% off offer was tricky. I tried with multiple browsers, adblock/dns disabled, from my PC, android phone, with wi-fi or cellular, a macbook, my wife's computer. It didn't work. But when I tried it on an old iphone, it did show up, so I texted and got a 10% off coupon.

So overall I did 10% off the EPP price, free 2 year(?) Samsung care+ for $1, an extra 24" monitor (not sure what to do with it though), ended up at $1171 before tax.
On top of that I activated the paypal 20% cashback deal which should give $250 back, and some % back at another website, so we'll see. Overall maybe not as slick as some of the other people but pretty good.
