I have one of these adapters. (Not the same brand but looks exactly the same)
My samsung s24 had a problem being charged from the usb-A port of my 100w 20k powerbank.
I did it as a test.
same usb-c cable into the dedicated usb-c port. charges fine.
The usb-c cable is the one that came with the s24, i think.

Having said that most people will be using them for USB 2 cables (USB 3 Type-C cables are kinda rare/expensive) so the commodity/cheap ones will work for most.
These are a commodity item now and Amazon is full of offerings at half the price. Pretty sure you would just be paying for the brand name on this one.

Ugreen as a brand has been hit and miss right now. Their NAS devices are all over YouTube right now because of the extremely generous affiliate program Ugreen is running and all the YouTubers are cashing in.

They work great on my chargers.
