I never post, but I really need to add my two cents here. I bought one of these a while back for $500 at Microcenter. Out the box, this thing is SLOW. It doesn't seem to know if it's a gaming monitor or a smart TV, and lands somewhere in the middle: it's terrible at both. The picture is beautiful, but these are plagued with overheating issues that require warranty voiding modification. The first time I used mine, I played FF16 on my PS5, it only took 15 minutes to overheat (this is represented by the screen turning black for a short period of time, which grows longer and longer if you don't turn it off). I would buy this at $150 and mod it but frankly even $350 I won't touch it again.

I was able to get the pricing through AAA and another 10% off (max $60) by signing up for text messages. $314.98 + $18.90 tax + free delivery = $333.88.

This was a good deal.

If your 32" are 1080P, you should notice a big difference. Any computer monitor that is 1080p over about maybe 24" is going to have blocky text as a computer monitor. I've been using a 39" Seiki 4K for ten years and will never go back to 1080P.
both are 3840 x 2160

I think 1000.00 is a bit high. I bought this from Best Buy in 2024 for 500. 350 is still a good deal IMO but it is def not a 1000.00 retail monitor.
same, using it right now, its a good all around monitor

QD-mini LEDs can get much brighter and has similar contrast as OLEDs without the trouble of pixel burn-in maintenance.. im in the market for one but this looks a bit lackluster. the new TCLs are rated at HDR1600, but the model that i want isnt sold on this side of the pond because of tariffs.

This is basically an alternative to a 42 inch LG CX types. Sure it isn't an OLED panel but it has proper monitor software that the tv moonlighting as a monitor doesn't. And you'd never get a CX at $350 so pretty great deal.

Damn, this is sad. And I really had my hopes up regarding this monitor too.
