This one does not have auto-defrost so you need to do it manually. I have one similar to this. The good thing is that you don't have to remove all the items, defrost and then put the items back in. The frost will accumulate on the side of wall. Once it is thick enough, you can simply use a butter knife to chisel it off lightly and the whole piece will come off and can be thrown away. Do this once 6-12 months.

Note: DO NOT USE METAL TO REMOVE ICE FROM A FREEZER, it's unlikely but you can cause a refrigerant leak with metal, opt for a plastic freezer ice scraper
As far as this deal, this freezer is fine but it is also almost always at this price and has been for quite literally years.

The price on this went up to $228 a few days ago. So we'll see if that's just an anomoly or if a higher price on this is coming.

Yep that's how rollback prices work you can't call it a rollback if you're always keep it at the lower price so every so often they raise it up just to lower it back down a few days / Weeks later. The absolute highest I think I've seen this at was 250 but it always comes back down to 198 or at least it has for the last ~5 years since I picked one up at this price in 2021 (it still works, I just need one with auto defrost since it is the family freezer and I'm getting very sick of defrosting it manually a couple times a year so every time someone posts this deal again - about every 60 days - it pops up in my feed since SD watchlists still do not know how to use/recognize Boolean search terms)

Ordered freezer at 8am and was delivered in pristine condition at 2pm. Manual shows GARAGE READY. Just plugged it in and hoping for the best. Had to adjust the legs to keep from rocking but so far so good
