No wifi, but a good deal on a great smoker. I've had the 575 Pro (pretty much identical but w/ wifi) for a few years and it's been an amazing first pellet smoker. You can easily do a huge brisket, a couple big pork shoulders, a few racks of ribs, or a ton of wings on here
Looks like a solid price from one of two brands I had shortlisted (Camp Chef the other). So since this isn't wifi, couldn't I just buy separate wifi probes on my own to use? That wouldn't seem like a deal breaker.

Yes, but you cannot change the temperature on the pellet smoker via wifi.

No wifi, no app for remote monitoring and control. Get this instead: Sams Club Nexgrill Oakford 875 Pro on sale for $399. Very solid smoker. I've had three different smokers over the last 7 years, and this is definitely the best one yet. Heavy duty and very well made.

The connection to you phone is great for long smokes , it will let you know when the pellets are getting low. ( I have a searwood so it might be different).

This one doesn't monitor pellet levels, but the hopper holds enough pellets for up to 36 hours of smoking. You will not need to worry about running out of pellets. What this does do is provide 4 temperature ports to monitor up to 4 meat probes, temperature adjustment of the smoker, and temperature notifications to your phone.
It has porcelain over cast iron grates which make it easier to clean than steel or expanded steel cooking grates.

3Cs for the amazon listing shows this was the price until mid August 2025. That said - this price was cheaper a few times prior to then.
