Mesh bottom chairs are not good for you because they do not support you properly. I had one I used for over 2 years and being a heavier person, it didnt give the support and added to my already mildly arthritic hip issue. I truly believe this mesh bottom chair as well as other lifestyle choices (over 150K miles riding a sportbike),is what lead me to needing hip surgery. That chair just expedited the process exponentially for me. Just trying to help someone avoid having the same issue.

I picked up two of these at Christmas for my teenage kids. They are GTG in my opinion. Solid and tough. I also have two 15 year old Herman Miller Aerons so I am speaking somewhat from experience with the good stuff.
