Warning, this is not a X86 laptop and will have problems with gaming and some other applications. Make sure your applications you use are ARM compatible. Otherwise this is a great price for this laptop 👍

I've owned one of these for 18 months. Excellent laptop. Build quality is top-notch, screen is absolutely gorgeous, battery life is great and it's plenty fast. Yes it's Windows on ARM so don't plan on gaming on this. The only app that I couldn't use is my company's VPN client. Aside from that, most apps have native ARM builds or work fine through emulation.

I got two of these for like $700 opened box about a year ago. They are great. Battery lasts me 3 work days without charging

This is a thin, premium Windows on ARM laptop that stands out for its 3K 90Hz OLED touch screen, strong battery life, and fast everyday performance. The build feels solid, the backlit keyboard is well liked, and the machine stays cool and quiet for most use. The main catch is app compatibility, especially for gaming, printer and scanner software, VPN clients, and other niche Windows tools. Open box condition also varies, with some units arriving pristine and others showing missing chargers or display burn in. A strong fit if your apps are ARM ready and you want long battery life in a light chassis.

Common Questions (5)

  • The X Elite model is still strong for Windows users who want a bright 3K 90Hz OLED, good battery life, and solid performance, but the newer X2 generation is described as faster in single-core, more efficient, and better for app compatibility. If you want the newest ARM platform, waiting for an X2 deal may make sense.

  • Open-box units vary a lot: some arrive pristine or nearly new, while others are missing the charger or show sticker residue, cosmetic damage, or even display burn-in. Checking in-store pickup and inspecting the unit is safer than relying on shipping.

    Hat-TrickthetaureanFrankF9516MerryLocket603

  • Gaming and other x86-dependent apps can be problematic because this is Windows on ARM, not x86. ARM-compatible apps usually run fine, but kernel-level anti-cheat, some older games, and certain vendor tools or VPN clients may not work or may need workarounds.

    thesaminatorthe-whinerwaveman391412

  • Battery life is a major strength, with reports ranging from all-day use to about 3 work days between charges. Sleep power draw is very low, but Modern Standby can eventually push the laptop into hibernate after a few hours.

    lotrbfmewavemanddBqRvCpcFv6FrankF9516

  • 16GB can feel tight on Windows 11, especially with multiple tabs or heavier multitasking, and the RAM is not upgradeable. For light office, travel, and browsing use it can be fine, but users wanting more headroom often prefer the 32GB version.

Only Fair condition available...and cannot add more RAM.
16gb on snapdragon chip is different than 16gb on Intel chip

This deal uses the Snapdragon X Elite processor, which is older 2024 model. There's a newer X2 processor version of this Lenovo Slim that is a significant (30% single core, 50% multicore) improvement compared to this older X processor.Considering if it's worth it ... a new X2 model from Lenovo website is currently $900 for similar specs (actually it's 1TB SSD). So $340 more a significantly better ARM cpu, new condition, and twice HD capacity. So I don't know, I think I'd rather wait for a deal on the X2.
It's plenty fast..... for every day task. What mission critical work do you do on a laptop?

I agree most people don't use it but why are they on firesale ????
Because most windows user are used to slow and unreliable Intel chip.... yet they don't know. I used to have Intel Mac and M1 chip was whole new world. Most people put up with clunky pc.. not knowing there is 3K screen. Premium built pc they can have for $600. It's stupid fast and battery last all day. I recommend snapdragon Microsoft laptop to two older people and I set up everything. It's fast and reliable and great. Qualcomm is working to get the market share.

Dont spread fake news. It's Windows OS to blame, not the chip.

It's not that $500 is an awful price, it's that your deal was a really excellent deal! Some might even say your deal is a one-off and you got very lucky.
Picked one up in Tucson for $418 or something like that. 32GB also. Would never buy the 16GB version. This laptop's CPU has serious issues with video files from cameras that can do 4:2:2 video. 4:2:0 is fine, though. Port selection could be better, but this thing is super light and the display is about as good as it gets in comparison to other models released at the time this was released. 90 hertz is good enough.

This is a great laptop. Less worth it with the ultra chips Intel rolled out, but still really good. Especially if you want to try ARM, x elite won't leave you wondering if you should have gone better.

Anyone have experience with this machine and Fusion 360?
I'd like to know this as well from anyone that has firsthand experience.

Autodesk lists it as compatible with emulation but not 'certified.'

---
x86-64 processor
2 performance cores, 4 threads
3GHz+ turbo clock rate
Example: Intel Core i3, AMD Ryzen 3, or similar

ARM64 devices can run Fusion on Windows 11 using XtaJIT64/Prism emulation. This functionality has not yet completed certification by Autodesk Fusion

This laptop has been 749 and 700 brand new over the past few months.

I scooped one of these open boxes but it ended up being a display unit with permanent cosmetic damage (a dent and 2 large squares where stuff was stuck on). Best buy had it marked as "Good".

For me, windows modern standby woulud eventually force it into hibernate mode. There might be a way around that, but for the week or two I had mine, I couldn't find a way to keep it just sleeping past a few hours. And once it's in hibernate I'd guess you'd probably loose like 1 percent a day.

Good news is, while sleeping it uses very little juice. With spin 3x snapdragon x 26-100 (not plus or elite) it was like half a precent an hour or less IIRC. And no surprise gotchas like putting it to sleep throwing it in your bag and finding a mini dry sauna an hour or two later.
That has nothing to do with the hardware and everything to do with your power settings in Windows. Edit your power plan.

This is ARM64/Aarch64 not X64 architecture so it isn't advisable for Autodesk Fusion unless you are using the web based HTML5 version.
