Owned the Frigidaire model and it wasn't a pleasant experience. Had to give it away. I'd honestly wait for another manufacturer.

Not liking mine.. was good for 4 months then electricity use has doubled since new. (Tracked via emporia smart outlet) the ice build up inside is crazy fast yet its sealing when closed based on how long it takes to reopen

Just bought my second one after a year of use. They're great. Just remember to let it sit in the area of your choosing for 24 hours before plugging it in to let the refrigerant settle.

Did you wait 48 hours before plugging it in?

If not, that's on you.

Are you the real Chris Fix? Huge fan if you are! Look up Frigidaire models and you'll see they start breaking down after the warranty period. We used to have a puddle that we used to walk into every other day after the warranty period had run out. we called plumbers, we call techs and they said this design was causing it. when i looked into it a bit further we decided we didn't want to deal with the mess almost daily. Gave it away for free. it wasn't worth our time. Hope that sheds some light into what we experienced.
