also on the 0.08 for ordering.. know what u mean. but i finally got my brain wrapped around it by looking at net gain not initial cost. so at 1.06 overage it really becomes 90c overage. kwim? saves u on food toiletry costs still.

Well, it was almost 80 here this weekend. I didn't even wear a coat. Nice thing here is, it snows, then melts right away! Back in ND, once it snowed, it stayed until April!

Just posting I had two very fantastic runs at Target today. I'm loving some of my new friends that a very special friend told me about, gotta give a major thank you to her. Now if it will only stay this way!

DD now has the horrible crud and I feel so bad I shared it with her. At 35 weeks now, the last thing she needs is to come down with the bug, but it is what it is...DSIL will be back in town tomorrow night, so I'm playing nursemaid to her tonight. so...gotta go figure out what to make for dinner. Something easy, like soup.

Ours is $40 worth of coupons and then you need manager approval and key. If I have more than $40 worth I make it two transactions. I admit I haven't shopped there in a really long time and not very often, but when I have done the seperate transactions the cashiers have been very happy not to have to wait for the supervisor to come over and thanked me for doing it that way. It keeps their lines moving, I have never done more than two, and sometimes it takes a REALLY long ass time for those grouchy supervisors to come over. I had one actually tell me it MUST be some kind of coupon fraud to use over $40 in Qs, even if I have a massive cart of groceries.


I You are not! I remember seeing your adorable family pics and being jelous of how pretty you are and tiny, you are a hot mom! I never knew there were so many of us with kids spaced so far apart, IMRL I don't know that many people that do, and so some of them ask if they are all ours so I usually say we have been married 16 yrs before I tell them we have a 13yr old 7 yr old and 22 month old. Then they are always like : you look so young! I know they are just saying that to be nice, though.

I know how you feel, I worry a lot of the time, about stuff everyday. It is overwhelming for sure and we just had a big cut to our grocery budget. Just to much to do in a day.

I did. The tumors in the liver are unchanged a year later and no more follow up is needed. I have to have another CT of the lungs in 6 months. I'll never get the hospital paid off Oh well, better safe than sorry. The lungs are unchanged as well, they just want to keep a watch on them.
I wish they would just hit a reset button and reset everything back to 6 months ago.

Ok guys, sorry for the teaser. First of all I didn't try any of the larger sized Qs because I didn't expect my store to be updated, so I'm not sure if there is a change in those. I bought 30 smart ones ( thanks again lisa), some produce, bakery, glade, TGIF, cheese sticks, gerber. I used the $5/5 x 6, $3 Gerber Yogurt (from a sample lady), b1g1 glade and $1.50/1 (would have used the $3/3 if I had known the update was in effect). No a single Q beeped or brought up a screen. The Gerber Yogurt was $2.49 and on the receipt it shows $2.49 and then directly underneath -$3.00 where the Q attached. Same thing with the Smart Ones. Shows $1.99 and then -$5.00 under it. Size 14 Glade Qs preformed exactly as they have been.

It was just a small run, I need to test out some other "types" of Qs and see what happens. I'm just happy the screen of death was gone. It was my cashier's first day on the job and she probably would have had a heart attack with that red screen popping up all over the place. Needless to say, I trained her well.

But, my DS got a stuffed giraffe in his BK Kids Meal and it had a $5/$25 toy purchase at Kmart. I think he was more excited about getting the coupon than the toy (he is 9, after all). I have taught him well

I haven't seen the BF ad yet, but we are getting some things in off the truck that are marked "2 day sale". The only one I was able to read the description on was the Jersey sheet sets that are $19.99 right now. They are on a front endcap in domestics, one of the colors is Aqua. Not sure of the price though. Just thought I would give a HU!

I got the best CAT on Sunday. It popped out when the cashier scanned my Halloween Piggy. It's $5/$25 Christmas lights/gift wrap/stuff like that (not sure of all the specifics). Best thing, it doesn't expire until 12-27-10 I know I will be holding on to that puppy until Dec. 26 :

I had a nice scare today. When I got to work, there is a sign posted above the time clock that after punching in, to IMMEDIATELY see the LOD for an explanation of the new coupon procedure. Come to find out, it's just making sure that everyone knows to look at the coupons to make sure the right amount is deducted and the registers aren't shorting the coupon. Then the STL said, "the general rule is, if it scans, we take it." I thought for sure something would have been said about the 14's or something, but no. The only things brought up are to cover the left barcode and that some things aren't tied in the system. Everything said was geared toward helping couponers and came "from corporate". My husband doesn't sleep well at all and his description is similar to your child's -- the brain just won't slow down. He is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week most weeks so he cannot take anything that will make him drowsy or knock him out -- not even Diphenhydramine (Benadry).

The lovely update has hit at least one of my stores!! And get this - there were 2-packs of Olay body wash that were marked 4.48. I figured that'd be a good test, to see how the registers were reading coupons. Unbeknownst to me, they actually rang up 2.48. And the coupons each scanned (and attached!!!) at $5/ea. Nice little surprise.

So is this the permanent fix, or is it temporary? What's the general consensus? And I didn't get to try out any of my bigger sizes - didn't want to go big and fall all to pieces.

Jaden has the low-grade fever now, so no school for him tomorrow. Which means mommy doesn't have to set her alarm!!!! But ... it also means I don't get to do the Target circuit I had been dreaming of... Its ok, though - gotta get my kiddos healthy.
