Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I just ordered the Amazon Moto E4 unlocked, and it won't be here for 2 or 3 days.
According to Motorola's specs, this phone takes a "Single Nano-SIM"
Is this something I can just buy at a Sprint store, or does it need to be purchased thru Sprint's web site?

Good to hear!
Does Sprint not ask you for more info. (such as name and address of existing number) than the EBay seller provides?

Or exactly how did that play out?

Nope - just account number and PIN. Account number was 1+Phone Number

Details are in Wiki. You need the sim ending in 416Q which is included in the Boost sim kit sold at Best Buy. See the Wiki for all the details.

Then you need to call in to activate when you provide your own sim.

Thanks. They must have simplified it down from when I ported in as it seems to me they asked me for the for exact name and address on the account being ported from.

ok..went to best buy this morning..created a new line on a new $65 plan on my existing four month old BYOD (initially 1 line , now 2 lines....1 free + 1 paid $65)

came home paid off using *3.
now will port out both somewhere..
today, the g6 auto unlocked.
removed the sprint sim
(not even sure why,,,just being super paranoid)
swapped a old dumb phone on the line.
so now have old g5 + old dumb phone
(the new g6 is not on any line)
then ported over both numbers to h20.

(actually had 2 port to 2 different h20 account, because my old h20 account had the same number ported to it 4 months ago)

ports completed in minutes...
from 1 sprint account to 2 separate h20 accounts.
pretty impressive

my 4 month old byod account is now, closed..
login works.
dont see any active lines.
will watch it for a few days to see if there is activation fee or prorated monthly charges.

at h20..funded with $10.
made a few calls, text..
tomorrow will inquire about getting h20 account number and port pin.
hopefully i dont get too much resistance from h20.

Quick question - the eligible phones (iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X) have "(Verizon only) with them.

Does that mean I need to buy a Verizon iPhone 8 Plus/iPhone X, not the unlocked versions in order to use the phones on the plan?

Thanks in advance!

Wow thanks for all the info on the plan. Worked for me. I unfortunately left them owing money years ago which they still of course had a record of. They did however knock 3/4ths of the bill off and once I paid it I was all set. The amount I paid is barely two months of service I have now. So well worth it!

Hmm. When I left them after 12-13 years, they tried to slap me with a $300-400 fee, and charge me for another month. The only time I had been on a contract was during the 1st 2 years, and after that, I always ordered a phone off ebay to avoid being under contract again. I wrote them a specific letter and told them to write me back in return, but I only got call after call after call from different reps. They finally removed the huge charge that should've never been on there in the 1st place. Then I tried to up the limit on one of my credit cards and was denied, and it had to do with Sprint screwing me over on an extra month of service they charged me for.
So part of the reason I'm doing this is to take them for a ride then at the end, port back to Metro PCS or somebody that'll give me a nice phone.
Hopefully I won't run into snags with that old balance they should've never charged me... :-s

Mine was cleared from my credit report a while back. I figured I'd pay 1/4th of what they say I owed and take advantage of the plan also. I get LTE ➕ in my area so hopefully it will be worth it.

Trust me, it's a shit show. My wife and I both have Nexus 5x's paid off a long time ago. She is eligible and I'm not. Almost a week on the phone with Sprint support yielded nothing. I switched to think instead.

Ah -- thanks for pointing that out. I had been searching all the posts for "e4" and hadn't come across the Wiki on the e4. That'll certainly help me out once I get my phone!

Well if it is not clear by Sunday that it has been extended you could port in with another number (e.g a $5 number for porting from EBay), then later on port over top of that - claim you ported in the wrong number accidentally - I think that would work.

Actually I think you will be able to add additional lines to an existing plan even after the promo closes but that is certainly just my interpretation with no way to verify.
