Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Like sabry, I don't have someones SSN to use; can you use your own SSN at some point?
You can use Tax ID instead of the SSN,

After 45 Days of porting out, your old account will be cancelled and cleared from Sprint servers, so you will be eligible again.

Is it possible to switch phones from one sprint line to another sprint line? both under the BYOD plan?
Also can we put in an older Sprint phone on one of the numbers? I have an older phone that I know was Sprint but it wasn't on the list. I know it was a Sprint phone and not a Prepaid one. I'm not touching the Moto G6 play but might need to switch phone numbers on it. Someone said that we can't change phone numbers but can we change phone's between the phones on the plan. Still debating on getting rid of house phone and porting that in but it will need to be put on a wifi calling phone because I can't risk the bad coverage in my house on a NON wifi phone. For those that have the Moto 5G+ that phone does NOT support wifi calling.

Tried last week, both my IMEI and Phone number (since it's Virgin) were eligible, if I switched to T-Mobile will sprint asks me for SSN? Can't provide another since I currently got my SSN and don't have any close relative to share
I think you will be okay with your SSN since virgin is a separate entity. However I would wait for clarification from others on this thread.

Any experience with Sprint in the west suburbs of Chicago compared to TMobile?
I've never used T-Mobile here but I'm pretty happy, data wise with the performance in the suburbs. However when you get way west say the Dekalb area it gets a little spotty. I have had no problems with voice indoors or out. I've heard T-Mobile can be a little spotty indoors with voice.

You sure can swap in an older phone. As long as it's never been on an mvno like ting tello or Ringplus.

How did you do it? I need a cheap phone to port in to and seems like there are no good options on Swappa. I was hoping for a new phone so was thinking a Moto E4, but no one has mentioned a boost E4 (or even better new E5 Play) on here. Were your phones new in box or what?

TIA
the boost iphone 6 i got for $70 from someone on facebook marketplace, said he didn't have it for long but switched to metro for coverage reasons. i bought the $3 sim number from ebay the seller sends you sim number via message and i activated by calling tmobile and asking to use it on the pay as you go for free (they give you phone number, pin number and account number is same as phone number but with a 1 in front). I gave that tmobile info to sprint rep with boost iphone imei. I had an old sprint sim card laying around i used for iccid. I did the same for the boost moto g6 but i bought that brand new at walmart a few days ago. Didn't turn on the phone till after 20 min after transferring from tmobile to sprint (used iccid that came in the phone).

Sprint doesn't work like that, you could do that in GSM (like T-Mobile/AT&T) but not CDMA as in CDMA they pair SIM with Device, you would have to swap IMEI/Device online or ask Sprint Support and there is a chance they will mess it up somehow and convert your plan to normal/full price plan if before 120 days (read about it at https://www.reddit.com/r/Sprint/c...fter_port/ ) Someone at Howard Forums swapped devices before 120 days and Sprint Rep cancelled customer's free year offer Read - https://www.howardforums.com/show...st16877634

What I suggest is, grab a disposable number for hubby from google voice at 3$ at
https://www.google.com/voice/unlock and port that into Sprint. Your hubby can swap Sprint and AT&T sim without problems, does that make sense?
Sorry i provided incorrect info. I have a GV # that is ready to be ported. My sprint account is already set up when rep placed the order for me. SIM card will arrive tomorrow.
So when i call to activate the phone, that's when i provide the sim # and GV # correct? Once that's done. Then i can swap the SIM cards between the device ?

I didn't tell the rep anything said its a Lenovo Moto G6 and the rep said its a prepaid phone and can not be used on Sprint and did I have another phone that I wanted to use

The only thing I can think of is someone else purchased the phone before I did and returned it.
I've had reps say the same thing, then next one I call puts it on the system...
