Sprint reached out and tells us that the link in the OP is outdated and this one https://community.sprint.com/t5/E...-p/1033393 is the newer, corrected one.
I didn't want to edit the OP but if the OP wanted to edit to have this link.. that would be great.

Note: Sprint stated they were in the process of of migrating all SERO accounts to SWAC, so you can either initiate the move yourself if you wish, or wait until they eventually get to your account.

Here is the dedicated customer service email. [email protected]
When I last used it, they took a full day to reply, but did so personably and thoroughly.

Give them old Russ's info, that is how many got into sero.

Russ has moved on and is no longer with sprint. maybe someone can email Michael and ask for his or a working CID that we can use today to give to the audit team if they start wiping out swacs.

whether it is possible to add premium channels, like HBO, to the Sprint-provided Prime service and, if so, whether that gets billed through Sprint?
I'd think it would be like any add on purchase, it goes through your Amazon account, and is billed accordingly. Amazon Prime offers a lot of service add ons, and it's between you and Amazon. Spring would just be covering the monthly/annual charge that gets you basic prime.

Is Hulu usage restricted to the Sprint device, or does the plan provide a free regular Hulu account that I can log into and use in all of my other TVs and devices?
It's a stand alone Hulu account w/ commercials. I've used it on multiple smart tvs and devices.
SERO already offers Hulu, you don't need to switch to these newer plans, you can get it now and they couldn't have made it easier to add the promotion. It took me days of confusion to add a similar promotion for HBO from ATT.

perfect time to say bye bye to Sprint if that happens to me. Right now the only thing keeps me with them is their cheaper rates despite of its shitty network speed. If they pull this trick on me after the conversion, they will see me terminating my two lines with them in a hurry.

Is not gonna happen. We converted the right way. That letter sounds like someone either illegally used an employee info OR the employee itself got too happy giving out invites. Or maybe a troll wants to freak everybody out.

It doesn't matter. Here we go again with the negativity. There are greater tragedies in the world to be worried about nonsense like this.

I kept coming back here and give some guidance if possible. Now I'm done with this thread.

Wake me up when Y'all start getting those letters.....

do you think we will get the letters in 3 months if we converted the right way? can this be a ploy and loophole that sprint executives have created and are using to drop all sero accounts?

has michael confirmed this? might not be worth converting to these and holding out on the grandfather plans as long as you can...

this is the letter i was referring to that they sent after 3 billing cycles.

Thanks to that original Reddit poster for sharing his/her personal experience and alerting us to Sprint's diabolical plan.

I remember comments/concerns expressed on FatWallet when SERO rolled out. There were those who warned that it was a "bait and switch" effort, by Sprint and that we might benefit for a couple of years; but, then...

It's taken 12+ years; but now, it (finally) appears that they were right. Sprint now wants to reduce my $50/month plan to $30 and in addition, give me a 50gb hotspot, international roaming, Hulu and Tidal. How insulting! Do they think that we skin our knuckles when we walk? Next thing you know, they'll be trying to convince us that the Earth isn't flat...

haha good one. It certainly has been a long ride for me with SERO. The switch is done and reflected on my account now. Can't complain for the better deal with less money. let's just hope it will live on as long as SERO did for me.

Last year they started offering Sprint customers Hulu. It included SERO plans. I think you just need to add it to your add-on's, but it shows a price of $0.

My wife was on SERO forever and I finally switched her to Red Pocket during their last eBay holiday sale. It was $224 for a 12 month plan ($18.66 per month) for unlimited talk & text and 5GB data. I might have stayed with Sprint if this had been available at the time time but she does not use a lot of data or need any of the other perks. Her phone is still using Sprint's network but through Red Pocket and the service quality did not change at all.

Her phone is still using Sprint towers through Red Pocket. That plan works on Sprint or AT&T with compatible phones. The 2GB plan works with Verizon.

Anyone who got converted via the website form, do they give you any kind of notice when it's done? Email? Txt? Call? I think I submitted it on Tuesday. How many days do you think it will take?
