Type in Amex amazon on this site. You will find a few of them. Looks like the latest deal is 40% off (max $50) so that's even better
LG's models almost all support HDR in this price range. You will always pay more for an LG monitor over Viewsonic, but you'll easily see where you money went in side by side comparisons.
I have the LG 27" 27GL83A-B which I got on black Friday for $320. It's a great monitor but the IPS glow in the top right corner is pretty bad. I've never noticed IPS glow on a monitor before and now I can't unsee it. Very annoying.
1. For console and most computers, 2k is more than enough. For consoles, 120hz is enough to future proof but know that 60hz will be more than adequate. The key is having freesync for those twitchy games.
2. HDR in this price range is stupid. If you want true HDR you need to spend a lot more money, especially if you want HDR to work with freesync. HDR in this price range is fake and adds nothing.
3. If you aren't hooking up to a vesa stand, ergonomics are really important
4. IPS will have the glow no matter what but will be the most true with colors but will also have the worst response time. TN have awful viewing angles and color reproduction but best response time. VA is somewhat in-between the two. For competitive gaming where you care more about response time, go with TN. Otherwise, I'd recommend IPS.
5. Don't get curved monitors for consoles
6. Rtings is cool and all, but don't let that be your ONLY resource, look at other review sites (e.g. displayninja)
7. Easy On screen menu accessibility is crazy helpful if you constantly switch inputs or switch settings.
Hope that helps. I'm not am expert by any means, so any info I have wrong just correct me

bad ergonomics and zero gaming features typically found in gaming monitors.
This is more of an in-stock notice than a sale notice. Most high demand 1440/144hz-165hz monitors on Amazon have been sold out for a while.
There are tons of better monitors than this. It's hardly a must have especially compared to ASUS and LG's competition models which retail slightly higher for much better monitors.

I went through it and was horrible. Had to send in a picture of the bad panel, go back and forth with customer service for status on the RMA. Took about 2 weeks to finally get it authorized to return and another week after arrival for the refund
