These are passive speakers, you would need an amp or receiver to power the speakers.
I have the RP-160M, the slightly larger version of these with a 6.5" woofer. Compared to my other bookshelves (Jamo C103, JBL Studio 530), these Klipsch are my favorite, especially for music.

A few important points:

• these bookshelves have a built-in pedestal that points it slightly upward, which is great on a desk; you can unscrew the pedestal and flip it around to instead point the drivers downward (either way it's about a ~5 degree angle)
• rear port, so needs some space away from a wall
• high sensitivity, so doesn't require as much power as other bookshelves

My opinion is that these are the best bookshelves (for my taste) under $500.
This brand makes speakers from $150 to 15K. Unless Costco has this model for cheaper that's a stupid statement.

Great price on that center. Wish it was available in black.

I may want the RP-150M's as speakers to be hooked up to a computer, will it hook up directly or do i need something to make that work?

As someone else mentioned, they're passive so require something to drive them. Amp, receiver, or (as I do) subwoofer with speaker outs. I use an old-school Logitech Z5500 sub with Klipsch bookshelf speakers as my mains.

Doesn't the Z5500 have an aggressive crossover at 150hz?

These bookshelves look amazing, how do they compare to the other Klipsch 5.25" bookshelves?

This is the RP line (Reference premiere), so a clear step up from the run of the mill R reference line that is always on sale. These are pretty legit bookshelf speakers, freq response down to 48Hz +\-3dB

Great price. Do they only have cherry? I'd really prefer black

Like everyone else has said above... iconian give us the black ash finish please! For those that got the 5.1 setups in black recently we want to upgrade our setups. Pretty please.
