If your promo isn't working under your account properly try this (worked for me):

Still on TMO ONE All In Promo plan (FRLTUL2LP) which is never eligible for free lines?
This is a great (grandfathered) plan as it gives you 2 lines for $100 or $80 after 2GB data limit kickback on the 2 lines (or even less if you have the plan with T-Mobile employee hookup code). Plus with the additional promotion you get HD streaming, 10GB full speed hotspot and twice the international data speed (256kbs instead of 128kbs).
BUT... this account only supports 3 lines and unless you got the one free line they offered once under this plan you never got and will never get a free line with the plan.
But if the plan works out for you can move to another T-Mobile One plan (FRLTULF2) which cost a little bit more (2 lines for $120 or $100 after kickbacks) but you will be eligible for the free line and hopefully for additional free lines in the future (the plan supports up to 8 lines in total). The reps are also be able to move the kickback and ONE Plus promotion to the new plan. They might not do it immediately for the new free line but this is also possible and might need another try.
Plus the new plan includes $10.99 Netflix Standard HD account contribution which also needs to be factored in as a bonus.
If you want to get out of that hole and make the change here is my conversation regarding the plan change with T-Force on Twitter:
https://slickdeals.net/f/14713250-t-mobile-customers-add-a-line-for-free-starting-december-20th?p=14402398
Then I called 611 at night and asked the overseas team to also add the promo add-ons to new free line so that all lines on the account have the ONE Plus promo (no kickback on the free line of course):
https://slickdeals.net/f/14713250-t-mobile-customers-add-a-line-for-free-starting-december-20th?p=14403126
Summary of the process and overview of changes:
https://slickdeals.net/f/14713250-t-mobile-customers-add-a-line-for-free-starting-december-20th?p=14403958
As I wrote it needs some time and the right reps to make it happen as I struggled with reps in the past to switch to a different T-Mobile One plan and not ending up with a Magenta plan and losing the kickback and One Plus promotion.
Good luck!

Regarding costs to add new line
If you add the line via the website, youll pay $10 for the SIM card to be shipped to you.
If you add the line via a phone call, youll pay the $10 SIM card charge and also $20 for assisted set-up. It is relatively easy to get both of these comped.
If you have a spare sim-card or eSIM, you can use that instead of paying $10 for a new one (bear in mind that it may not be able to do SA 5G). You will need to call since the website does not allow re-use of old cards. (You can also do this via online chat support lines like in-app chat and t-force on twitter)
Expired cards do work, but you have to request a replacement. Again, no SA 5G.
If you have a Costco near you, they will give you the sim card and activate for you for free.

Heads up, you've been un-enrolled from T-Mobile your promotional service discount as the account no longer meets promotion eligibility criteria. View
for account details.
currently chatting with tmobile.....
Thank you for waiting. Looking over the account I am seeing that you were told that you would qualify for that promotion before adding it but I am seeing that the **** line on the account has a promotion that cannot be combined with it. This is because it is basically the same promotion that we had extended to a later date than what was originally expected.
I am looking to see if there is any option that we have to still provide that since we had offered it. I cannot guarantee that it will be available since our systems will automatically remove it if we try to manually add it but I do want to take a few moments to make sure we go into any options that we have to help.
and now I got this....
"Thank you for waiting. I have been able to confirm that we will not be able to provide that promotion. If we were to do so it would end up falling off automatically before any kind of credits are applied.
I don't want you to pay for the information that we missed though so I can offer to apply a one time credit to cover the cost of that line for 12 months. I see that is $30 monthly so I can offer a lump sum of $360."
so then I ask....
"So the free line promotion that started a few days ago is t really a new free line promotion?"
and the response is...
"It is but it cannot be combined with the other free line promotion that you got with the line added on 11/25/2020 ending in 8841. This is because those are basically the same promotion. The lump sum credit that I offered is us going out of the normal to give you that line for free for a years worth of time."
I got same message and i contacted tforxr and this was their response:
Hello there! My name is Jay, here to help! Thanks so much for reaching out about your free line! We absolutely want to make sure that we're getting you 100% squared away and I'd love to get the details for you!
I really appreciate your patience! We work a bit more like email than chat, here in TForce. We work with multiple amazing people at a time and respond to in the order they come in! You may not always get a message right away, but you will always get one!
Looking at your active promotions here, I see that both the 2020 Line On Us 3 and the 2020 Line On Us 4 are both active on your account right now. Looking deeper, I see that the 2020 Line On Us 3 is NOT expired on your account, nor is it pending removal with any specified ending date! It's definitely important that our customers are getting all the promotions the qualify for, so I am happy to confirm that you are good to go and have nothing to worry about!
My trade in is due 12/25.
Mines is delivered but it has been 1 week. I'm wondering if my trade in promotion will go away on 12/25 and I need to call tmobile.
I was originally on One plan with one line. Novemeber, I added more lines with new iPhone 12 deals, and the in store rep moved me to Magenta with 3 total lines (2 paid, 1 free).
I didn't know that Magenta was worse off than One. When this new line promo came up I added it and started reading this mega thread. I asked TMO chat a couple days ago to switch and they said yes,
Long story short, I was able to finally move back to One plan this morning. I still have 2 free lines and got my old kickback reinstated on my original line.
T-Mobile needs to bump up their numbers to look good for shareholders. They offer free lines. People sign up like crazy. T-Mobile has a clause that if you make changes (cancel lines) within 12 months free line credit is dropped. People say it's free I ain't canceling anything. Then T-Mobile offers more free lines and people sign up. Then T-Mobile offers one last free line of 2020 that is going to F people over cuz if they got the previous free line this one won't stack and they'll have to pay for it. People sign up anyway. Then people find out that they're getting charged some upwards of $40 per AAL pricing. People are pissed. They try to get things fixed but it doesn't work and they end up canceling the last free line. Due to terms starting with the first free line, it disqualifies them from all free lines (changes within 12 months) so they have to pay for more lines. Then people say cancel all my free lines. "But I get free phone out of it since I got a phone promo " EIP gets revoked and all payment is due. People are screwed. T-Mobile reps are screwed cuz they have to deal with disgruntled customers. Who is not screwed? The corporation. They got their numbers up when they wanted. They cut their "free line" losses when people started canceling free lines they had to now pay for and either paid more than they were doing before or cut their losses and went back to the same plans they had before.
Hope none of this is true but sure could make a good original Netflix movie don't you think??
Kickback can net you $10 if you use less than 2GB. I never qualified on my one line, but now have read with dual sim phones, people will use one line for phone and another for data. So use the free line I just got with this promo for data and then I can get kickback.

I asked him to go ahead add for me anyway because Tmobile will update it for free. But the guy refused to do this and said he doesn't want to mess up anything.
I recommend calling back in and speak to a local team to handle your issue.
So I got in contact with a local tech support. He said the reason it was not going through was because my account is not compatible with the LOU promos. I explained to him and proved to him that the LOU 2 was on my account for a few months. So then he claimed that he can see that LOU 2, 3 and 4 are attempting to be manually entered and said it should show up in my next bill. I'm just worried about this because I don't want to get hit with a $80 jump in my next bill. Does anyone know if the developer tools trick show if what he's saying is true? Thanks

Nice plot. Actually I have already thought through the latest new line part, where you keep adding and never cancel the already paid ones, because you keep resetting the 12 month clock with last new one added, yes- the EIP would become an issue.. if everyone is asked to pay for what was FREE at the time of adding the new lines.. let's hope that it's not true
