I picked this up and have been using for about a month. While I have not seen any video issues, I occasionally get a lag of ~10 sec before the audio kicks on when watching specific content. I have experienced a few other things such as specific settings not saving and sound mixing with my center does not always sound perfect. Thick could be blamed in the content though.
Since owning it, I have received 2 firmware updates labeled as 'bug fixes' so at least they are trying to do the right thing.
Sometimes I think this sounds very warm and satisfying... Other times I miss my 11 yr old Onkyo.
Over, my satisfaction is about 7/10.
Is it worth $330? Given what else is out there, yeah. But just keep in mind it may take Yamaha some time to fix what should not have been released as broken.

Two sub outputs does not mean it uses two pre-outputs. This uses one pre-out and splits the signal to two outputs.
Probably won't matter for most people but it matters for those that wish to adjust levels/EQ/time delay for each sub independently.

On a side note, I bought the receiver because I wanted to upgrade my system to Dolby Atmos and added two ceiling speakers to my 5.1 setup. The addition of the two ceiling speakers creates a sound bubble which is truly immersive. The cockpit scenes in the movie Midway are amazing as you hear Jets going overhead and from side to side.
Even my dogs have taken notice. When I watch movies they are looking around the room trying to identify where the sound is coming from.

There is a setting that shows the input on the LCD. It's kinda hidden and I don't remember where to set it, but it's really helpful. Someone gave directions for it in the old thread.
In context, I would like the overhead speakers to be able to play music, as I have an open concept kitchen/living room.
Thank you
Thank you. Sony x950h. I know my denon integrates with it using standard Arc
