I just picked up this Levono but the HP looks to be a better spec?
Anyone know which one is better and wondering if I should return for the HP?
Ryzen 7 is much better. But the lenovo screen is better. So it is a trade off.

Sweet on the 4 year warranty that is like 99 dollars from Lenovo
Thanks

Do you know this works for both the Costco warranty and the Citi one, do we register? I bought one with my GF Costco credit card, because of you post....have to do a return of the other. And to ad to my confusion the Office Depot 4500U version is supposed to be in stock again in two and half weeks. Decisions decisions

I don't know if you have to register anywhere. Doubt it but couldn't hurt to call Costco to be sure.
I've had the laptop for a few days now. Seems fine. I'm not a power user. I'm sure there are better deals out there but the service and warranty in this case are tough to beat. Good luck!
Just to make this clear, I returned the laptop because of a touchpad issue (not working), and immediately bought the last exact one from Costco yesterday. Funny thing was the same issue came up after updating the laptop, but I fixed it after several hours of research. Would recommend this laptop for anyone who doesn't game

For $100 more, you get Ryzen (is it better?), 1 empty ram slot to update, better overall build and S-Pen (if you care about it)

I believe from the spec sheet it's filled with 2 4gb modules, so you need to take those out sell them on eBay and buy 2 8gb @3200. I can see liking the pen. But have to see it in person...right now I don't have too much faith in HP, plus their keyboards are often silver keys with white letters.....that's a big and often usability problem. Ryzen is a beast, just need to check cooling and noise in person

I looked at Macbooks but they are too pricey for someone like me who's a SD'er .
