Not really, prices are unfortunately currently very inflated. Best prices before this craziness started was around $15 per TB. I'll keep holding out. Thanks OP

NOTE: these are NOT shuckable. The USB connector is built into the lower electronics board attached to the 2.5" drive itself. There is NO SATA connector on the drive.

While I'd like to wait for prices to come back down, I'm out of space on a computer. So this can get me by for a while, or at least as long as my optimism for the future holds!

This is a good price in the current environment, and it's in stock for immediate delivery (free next day for me). In for one. Thanks OP!

If you believe Best Buy's claim of "Was $179.99" then yes it's a huge discount. If one pays attention to the actual pricing on this hard drive at Best Buy they'd see this drive generally fluctuates between $95 and $110 with a rare drop to $90. Once in a blue moon Best Buy will price this drive over $150, usually for a week or two, otherwise its usually down under $110 for its normal price.

Keep in mind that this is a portable hard drive (2.5 inch non shuckable). This drive rarely if ever breaks the $18 per TB price point. Usually floats around the $20 per TB mark when on sale. If one doesn't need portability, look to the larger desktop external drives (3.5 inch) which generally have a better per TB price point. Usually the larger capacity drives desktop external (3.5 inch) drives can reach the coveted $15 per TB.

Not a steal, but if you need one now or soon, there are few other options.

In for two, if I'd known cryptotards were going to fark up HDs as well I'd have gotten some of those $16.25/tb externals that were popping up last year but better this than nothing.

Chia is almost to 16 petabytes of storage right now, up from 8 petabytes only 11 days ago. If you need hard drive space buy it now, because it won't be available at this price again for a while.
Actually the reverse. The price of the coin is tanking. Netspace growing crazy makes it unprofitable at current HDD price.
