I have a hack for this on my H9G. Click on "build number" several times to enable "developer mode". Then turn window, transition, and animator animations off. This improves the response time when navigating through home, selecting apps, and using the menu.
To the people mentioning Quantum TV's YouTube channel, I would advise you to find a more reliable source of truth. That guy has absolutely no clue what he's talking about.
Real shame that this is maxed out at 65" would really pay for 75" and even 85" versions for my living room.

Not willing to $3,000+ for their new top of line model 8k TV. Still do not understand why these companies are making 8k TVs.

I like a TV that I don't need the remote to operate and can use my voice. Is that a realistic expectation? Is this a good TV for that? I enjoy everything google assistant can do, like control my lights, but will assistant get in the way while watching a movie?

Yeah you can do that. I'm not too sure what all commands it can do but I know I turn the TV on/off, change inputs, and control volume using google assistant. It shouldn't get in the way of movies really. If you're using the voice activation you just have to have the mic turned on and say "Hey google" to make it start listening. At that point there's a bar that pops up on screen but I really like it. It's one of those things you had no idea you wanted/needed but once you have it it's hard to go back.

Considering one of these for PC and ps5 gaming, but I've heard there are issues with ghosting and vrr. Also not sure if Hisense is reliable in the long run. Too bad the q90a is so expensive and only has one hdmi 2.1 port.

I see some great reviews on this model including youtube reviews from quantum tv, comparing it with sony. I wonder how smooth is the Android interface, running apps etc.

Same here. I am looking to get the 75" U7G when it releases. I am surprised the U8G is even on sale already. The U6G has been out longer and I don't recall those models with a larger % off than this series.

How does this compare with Hisense H9G? There was a H9G 65 inch Walmart deal last month for $700. I missed out on that one and have been waiting for another deal to pop up

Pretty similar to the H9G actually. The OS is upgraded and smoother and the screen is a bit brighter so HDR content should pop a little more. Also a few extra gaming features.

I bought this TV a week ago. I've been using it for gaming with an Xbox Series X as well as 4k UHD content via Plex/Youtube/AmazonPrime. AMA within reason.
