Amazon just matched the price. https://www.amazon.com/Hisense-Premium-65-Inch-Compatibility-65U8G/dp/B091XWTGXL/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1... [amazon.com]

Be careful with the reviews on there though. They mixed in the H9G reviews with the U8G.

About to pull trigger on 55 inch. Was holding on to buy a TV for some time. Stuck between tcl 6 series or this but going for this one. Will probably get the 5 year geek squad protection too.

I just got this a few days ago.

TV looks great for movies, period, and games when they're bright and colorful. Played RE8 for the first time since switching sets, and when you hit the Donna Beneviento area, the darker area's really show the ghosting issue. It's being said that if you use the 4k 60hz HDMI port that it gets rid of the ghosting, but I tried that and it still exists.

Hoping Hisense puts out an update soon, but in the mean time I got Geek Squad 5 years so if they don't get their poop in a group, I'll make a stink until I get a set that's equal or better after a year.
PS5? I'm curious if this is maybe a PS5 incompatibility problem that needs fixed, as I haven't seen any XBoxers mention the issue yet?

I have a X900 and would consider this tv for the greater brightness Hdmi 2.1 on all ports and imax certification. Kinda regret not waiting for this tv.
The U8G, like the X900H, only has two HDMI 2.1 ports (#3,#4).

They will price match as long as it's within the return/exchange period of the original purchase.

How does this compare with Hisense H9G? There was a H9G 65 inch Walmart deal last month for $700. I missed out on that one and have been waiting for another deal to pop up
This is semi-gloss and the h9g is gloss. Personally, I prefer gloss. Makes the blacks more inky IMO. And contrary to popular belief, gloss screens are excellent for reflection handling. Check rtings

It's a real stretch saying the x900h has hdmi 2.1 ports at all

Anyone who pays $1200 for a HISENSE tv deserves the crap they get. Please
That's what they said when the Japanese manufacturers started selling cars in the US. Japanese manufacturers dominate in the market nowadays. The Chinese TV manufacturers are set to do the same in the TV space. Hisense is a big name in China and, with TCL, are among the biggest of the vertically integrated manufacturers. They offer far more bang for the buck than any of the Korean or Japanese TV manufacturers - especially in the lower end of the market where the Koreans and Japanese manufacturers cut quality to maintain margins while the Chinese need the quality to gain market share. In the end though, you need to get what you are comfortable with at the price point you are looking for.

I think I may move the x900h into the family room and eventually get the Hisense later for bedroom once they resolve the motion issues in gaming. My x930d in the family room now is kinda getting outdated only kept it around for 3D movie capability but no one even uses that anymore.

To the people mentioning Quantum TV's YouTube channel, I would advise you to find a more reliable source of truth. That guy has absolutely no clue what he's talking about.
Not only that yt channel. You can also compare it side by side on rtings.
