I think u7g is very similar to u6g which I just bought for 530$ from best buy. If so, I'm blown away by the quality of the this tv especially for the price. Fantastic tv but I wouldn't pay 700 for it

I have heard good things about both, but the U7G has 120 native contrast and rated at nearly twice the max brightness. The U6G is a great value though. I am interested in seeing the Rtings U7G review first as it is currently in testing.

Buy Dig has a long history of unfriendly consumer practices.

Seems like this was very close to the normal prices at bestbuy/amazon until a week or so ago.

Probably will see a better price from a different vendor in the next few months.

I need a TV now, and I am confused about all the terminology, Quantum dot, ULED, etc.
I see this has 4 HDMI ports, which is important to me. All the ones in walmart and BJs have either 2-3 HDMI ports.

WHat should I be looking for in a TV? Is this a quantum dot TV? They seem to normally be expensive, whereas traditional LED TVs seem to be cheap.
Whats the difference between U7G and U8G?

The terminology is all gimmicky for the most part. Hisense is seemingly the best budget tier TV brand you can get. I don't know much about the U7G, but I do know the U8G will have a native 120 refresh rate compared to the U6G which has 60. U8G will have a stronger processor and be brighter as well. With all that said, I personally went with the U6G and don't regret it — for what I paid.

That's literally what I bought it for haha thanks! There's so many LED acronyms I feel like it's either OLED for high end or Budget TV for low end
