MBA is a powerful machine, the M1 chip under the hood beats even latest most powerful intel chips in the processing power..! It runs on the MacOS and not on any scaled down/lightweight OS required for chromebook. So technically there is no comparison between MBA and chromebook..!

It really just make everyone's life more difficult. The option for return is always there (if you are within the return window and the machine is perfectly fine). It will take them more time to process, box it up and have to sell it as an open box. Instead just refund the $50, if I encounter any issues, I'm not even going to put up a fight, I"m just going to wipe the drive and refund and purchase again.

I grabbed an open box scratch and sent for$520 2 months ago. 1 battery cycle on it and 1 scratch you can't see except at one specific angle. It's on the black not the actual screen. But I would have bought new at this price
