I just put in an order 30 minutes ago for pick up on the ratchet and shipping on the kit and for some reason my whole order was canceled a few minutes ago like HD knew what was going on. Anyone else experienced this? Store #609 that I put for pick up still has 4 ratchet in stock.
Try it again. Keep doing it until it goes through.

Damn this is my second hack purchase in just as many days. Now getting my Milwaukee home DIY kit together. This is going to be an expensive couple of weeks.

Bosch's set is much better than Milwaukee. The forward / reverse button on this Milwaukee is badly designed. Also the Bosch's set is lighter and smaller.
Can't speak to the Bosch, but the forward reverse on this tool is exactly why I didn't buy it.

No idea why they didn't just go with the 50-year industry standard crossbolt-style selector instead of some electronic button on the top, but nope.

I bought this tool a few months ago. The hacking is really easy, not sure why people are complaining about it. I ordered the other item for delivery and then canceled it without having to return it and got the driver with the discounts.

At any rate, one of my favorite tools because I don't have to pull out my big clunky M18 drill to do most of the work anymore. The batteries don't last long but with all the tool deals I ended up with several M12 batteries plus the extended battery I got with the hackzall. Magnet on the front is super handy when you remember you have it.

I have both this one and the Bosch. Bought this because I already had a few other Milwaukee tools and thought the convenience of having a single battery type would be good. Overall i would still prefer the Bosch one because it is lighter and doesn't have that additional piece of plastic in the front that the Milwaukee one has which just adds additional unneeded bulk, all for a magnet. Also I especially dislike the electronic push button that the Milwaukee has on top, the sliding direction selector that the Bosch(and every single other tool have) is much more convenient and easy to use.
I sold my Bosch set to stick with one type of battery, and I use this Milwaukee driver for around 6 hours a day pretty regularly. I forced myself to try using the magnet since it was there, and I usually switch between 2 bits regularly (unfortunately it won't hold a socket as well) and now I wouldn't want to do without it (I'm sure I'm switching between a #2 and #3 philips a LOT more than most people would though). I can understand people disliking the direction selector, it doesn't bother me that much though, at least it gives a good visual with the light. I love the power on this for the weight though, I don't need to switch to my impact wrench nearly as often as I thought I would, which keeps the noise down a lot, and this driver is easier on batteries than the impact.

I ordered the finish driver and ⅜ ratchet as described and they sent me the Fuel drill and impact driver combo for the same price! 😜

That's great! I would love to get on this deal. Would you mind seeing if you can still replicate the deal. I would greatly appreciate it.

Did you change the store to 1055? I was able to get in earlier today. I wish Makita tools would be on sale this often! Im in the wrong ecosystem and now im "crossing streams" with this purchase!

Last time I did a hack at HD a couple of years ago, they put me on some watchlist. Next time I tried to return something, they refused my return. I had to go please with this 3rd party company to get my name off the list. They had my whole purchase history with HD. I did like one return a year if that. I try to avoid buying from HD if I can get the same from Lowes.

How did get your name off the list? I have the same situation
