Basically, your eyes are not flat - they're rounded, so having the curve helps brings more of the monitor into your field of view without needing to move or strain your eyes (which happens has a reflex even if you don't intentionally do it) to see what's on the screen because the curve brings more of the image into a narrower field of view.
A curved monitor isn't going to solve every problem, and the larger the monitor the more you will need to move or strain your eyes to see it (for example, you're never going to have the entirety of a 49" curved monitor into your field of view), but it's almost always going to be easier on your eyes than a flat monitor will be.
I went from a flat 27" to a curved 34" ultrawide several years back as my primary productivity monitor (mostly office applications, word processing, etc.) and while I wasn't having any serious issues with the 27", within a day or two I noticed a considerable relief from eye strain and headaches and have never looked back.

I am looking to purchase 2 monitors either a (2) 27s or (2) 32s and I don't know where to start, I'm not good with the specs

Is there a specific reason for saying this? I edit professionally and game a bit in my freetime. So I've been shopping around, never had a monitor this expensive. My only one so far has been a hand me down, so I dont know a ton

I'd never buy appliances from Samsung. I have faith on their TVs and computer components
Can I suggest you purchase a few monitors and see what you like? I saw a video that the VA panel color sucks compared to IPS. I'm currently with a 34" ips ultra wide from LG. I want a IPS 35" curved but they're just way out of my price range.. good luck
Ah, yeah basically all I know about monitors is that editors I watch on YT usually preferred IPS. Yup, guess I'll be shopping around, good luck
I love mine but man if I could splurge I'd like a nice 38" ultra wide for $1000+
I just got a new mbp 16 so yah I'm not in the market lol
But in seriousness, this depends on the model. Most dells and LGs are ok from my experience, but I did have 1 samsung that wasn't.
It's subtle. Once you get a curved screen, it's just a bit more optimal. Without it I feel I have to turn my head ever more slightly which can add up if I'm at the desk for hours. I had this monitor, but ended up returning it for other reasons and got something fancier and curved.

from my previous post:
I've gone through two of these units when they were sold at Costco. First one ran fine for about a week and one day it just refused to turn on. Second one was flickering oddly at random times for no reason. Connected both via DP.
Just for the hell of it (was going to return it anyways) I tried to OC a bit using Nvidia CP. I...would not try to OC these long-term, they already felt like they were already being pushed at the current hz. I think I got to 95-98hz and sometimes the monitor wouldn't turn back on after waking the PC. I had to unplug and replug the DP cable to wake.
