I hate my blink cameras (3 outdoor, 2 minis). Capturing real movement is a hit or miss at any sensitivity level. I know this because I have a spot that is covered by 3 of them and I feel lucky when at least one of them captures racoon movement there. it is a cat door and sometimes I see the raccoon only leaving. False alerts are guaranteed at any setting. I have them for a year now. Battery is holding up well for me but what is the point when the camera is a POS.

Same problem here on the xt2, it'll start the recording g and then stop 2 seconds later. (This is in a high traffic area) I have 2 cameras that overlap at a 90' angle, I'll get one camera recording the 30 second clip that I have it set to the other will do the 2 second mini clip

They are terrible. The battery and subscriptions aside It doesn't work well for security. So many moments missed, the backs of heads or sometimes nothing at all. Not good against porch pirates that's for sure.
Pretty much garbage IMHO.

I one this one and a blink mini as well. I would recommend finding something better.

I've been using this for over couple years and not once had problems with battery or wifi. No subscription required if you have XT2 model.

So I just bought three of these and they have been up for 2 weeks. I purchased them to add to my current set up which is the ring. Ring by far is better than the blink. Blink is an upgraded version of a toy spy equipment I used to buy my kids like those night vision binoculars for the kids. They do not offer real time notification. You are notified depending on how long you set the recording for. The lowest setting is 5 seconds. So when you get notified its when the recoding stops then sends it to you. That is not acceptable to me I want to know who is in my drive NOW not after they are out of the car already knocking on my door. And my camera is set up at the entrance of my drive which is 200 feet from my house. It works to notify me but by the time I get the notification they are knocking on my door. My ring doorbell is instant!! No waiting. Also the night vision is USELESS just like those old toys I used to buy!

Probably have it setup wrong... I have 6 of these cameras, battery lasted over a year I'd say. They are awesome and no issues.

there is almost nothing needs to setup.
pair the cameras with module, enable motion detection , mount somewhere not expose under sunshine...
when you have some events to look out, there is nothing there, or only few seconds in the beginning ...
only good thing is that microphone is very sensitive can capturer lost of noise
