Pro Tip: The installation should be fairly hidden, other than the antenna that is mostly hidden behind the rear view mirror. Install it in her car before Christmas then just give her the remotes on Christmas morning, it will be more exciting than a pile of boxes. Speaking from experience Frown

I just purchased this. Installation is included at this price. You'll be able to set up your appointment after your order. It will list the T-Harness and Installation as being Free.

A calendar comes up and you can select the date and time that works best for you. It just shows you the earliest available date after you've added it to your cart.

Yeah, I don't see anywhere in the description that installation is included.

Does anyone know if these work with a 2016 sienna? Not sure where a list of compatible vehicles are
You can specify your car make and model during the initial product page (browsing), or on your BB account I think. At anyrate, this will work for a 2016 Toyota Sienna with either push to start or key start.

What on earth do people need a remote starter for on today's fuel-injected modern cars? No one needs to warm up a car anymore. All it's doing is spewing fumes into the house.
Clearly you don't live in super cold climates. Here, a lot of people have to park their cars outside. Warming the car up does a few things - it helps defrost the windows from ice and snow, which if you've ever driven behind a vehicle who hasn't bothered to clear the ice off their car results in chunks of it flying off and hitting you on the freeway. The other thing that warming your car up does is makes sure you can shift through all the gears without having to drive "like a nanny" for the first 2 miles in sub zero temps. This can help prevent engine damage.
You are right in some respects - it's not great for the environment, and overall on a vehicle it's not good to be sitting there idling a whole lot. Usually a remote start will shut the engine off after 10mins - which is enough time to warm the car up, or cool the interior down in the hotter summer climate.

I got this for free over a year ago when the Best Buy installer forgot to charge me or mark that I went to my appointment. All stores were shut down later that afternoon due to COVID lockdown. Got an e-mail saying I didn't show up for my install appointment, I called to correct them because I didn't want someone to get fired or in trouble. Couldn't get through the phone lines for a week since every other customer was calling about their orders, etc. After a week, got an e-mail saying they refunded me and I gave up trying to reach out to them. That being said, I think this is well worth $250 and would definitely pay for it on any car I own. I use it both in winter and summer and it has been flawless. The range is MUCH farther than most OEM remote starts. Make sure they install the tilt sensor for the hood, my installer tried to talk me out of it.

He should be fired. I've started this thing accidentally from my pocket MANY times.

I think in addition, not having the keys in your pocket while working under the hood is a good idea.

Price drops to $149 if you are a TT member.

TT almost pays for itself right there.

100% they would.

I just got refunded the price difference on a TV that dropped $50. Just hit up their online chat.

FWIW, if you have Total Tech, the price of this is only $149.

I've tried it with the link in original post and the green "see deal" button. It doesn't work. I even searched best buy for the right product. Does anyone have a zip code that does work so I can see if I'm just doing it wrong?

Genius. I've maimed my hand in a running car, you'd think these things would occur to me. LMAO

Had this installed 2 weeks ago. Prior car had previous model, and honestly miss that model. This one works well, but I prefer the 2nd remote, because it's SILENT. The beeping and lights from the other remote are annoying.

Good luck getting an install date within a few weeks. My install date was cancelled 2 days prior, with next install 3 weeks out. Fortunately, customer service reinstated the date and the installer confirmed.

Install took approx 5 hrs, so be prepared...he did a good job.
