Back down to $1000 after a couple weeks above $1100. Hope Hisense can match the 65" R646 which just dropped to $900

I don't see the Hisense U8G as part of the 10% back Amazon Prime Card promotion - can anyone confirm?

UPDATED: was able to confirm - wasn't originally showing up on their list, but it's on there now and "Ends on Dec 20"

Camel: late Oct to mid Nov this year it was slightly under 1K then price went up after first week of Nov to about $1100

-Maybe wait until Black Friday? Cyber Monday?
-BB doesn't have its Black Friday price guarantee any longer-expired yesterday
-better financing on BB (24 months) if you have a BB card
-BB has 5 year protection if you want it

-only 12 month financing on Amazon and only 4 yr vs. 5yr protection plan

Electronic Express is offering a 5% off coupon on Amazon. Ends up being a similar deal to Amazon's 10% cashback if you buy directly from Amazon

I'm not seeing the 10% back with prime credit card. The last deal I saw it showing, but not currently. I would only buy from Amazon for this size of TV, not some 3rd party company. Simply in case of returns.

I see the 10% Cashback offer right under the price. You have to have an Amazon Prime card linked to your account to see the offer.

The 10% Cashback offer is supposed to be good until December 20th.

I've noticed that sometimes when I go to Amazon, that a third party seller is listed rather than Amazon. In that case, go to other sellers and find Amazon. You will also see the 10% cashback on checkout.

I've had this TV since 11/6. Got it from a previous SD post when Amazon was offering 10% CB on the Prime rewards card, making it about $900 + tax.

I'm impressed with the picture quality and the snappiness of Android TV. It could easily replace the Apple TV I have attached. No issues with ghosting or choppiness. Generally a fantastic TV.

That said, I've got a cluster of 3 or 4 dead pixels in the top middle, another one dead about 8 inches from that, and one stuck on green near those. I'm debating returning it for a replacement...

Swap it out, or at least get some money back for a "defective" item.

You still have time to get it exchanged, do that before it's too late.
