Apparently no one else seems to think this is a better deal.

Just a warning to everyone: apparently Newegg does not always purchase drives directly from the manufacturer or a standard reseller. I received a Seagate 18TB internal this week (sold by & shipped by Newegg directly), and it has no warranty. After talking with their customer service, they directed me to XFX(?) who supposedly purchased the drive for a system build - so no user-level warranty. It was a good deal on a brand new drive, so I am hoping XFX can fix it; if not, I am leaving it sealed so I can return it for a full refund.

Why isn't this a good deal? Curious.
