So I compared my old PNY 128GB 3.0 to the one I just got from Amazon, and here are the speed results. Note also the new one says 115GB and the older one I got in 2017 says 117GB

New one is 50% slower when it writes (as pictured) compared to older one.
New one is a bit slower when it reads (as pictured) compared to older one.

this thing held up forever, decent deal, great for doing OS installs (like putting 50 linux distros on it), it might be tricky booting a uefi computer with a 3.0 port, but using a hub and a 2.0 port works

I feel like this option at 2 for $19 is a better deal, especially if they really do hit usb 3.1 or 3.2 (hahahaha) speeds.

I've used 3 of this model, different sizes, purchased at different times from different stores.. they've all had terrible write speed.

The best I saw was 4 MB/sec sustained (large files). The worst would copy at 7-8 MB/sec for a second, then stall for several seconds. Its effective write speed was under 2 MB/sec.
