For me this Tv replaced a CX and I think its a better set
The better Tv tuner alone in this TV is worth $100 IMO

Id do the G1...there is a certain place that doesnt charge tax that I bet you can get the G1 cheaper for....the place that shall not be named on slickdeals

Which is what I was going to do but once you use it then the warranty is done through Best Buy. So you're getting a new panel to start but no more warranty left if it goes down
After the claim on a Best Buy geek squad warranty you still have remaining coverage unless they pay you off with a gift card. A gift card is given in the case where the replacement part is no longer available or the repair cost is more than you paid for the item originally
The stand can be purchased seperatly...should have been included though imo.
Which stands do you buy for the G1 if you don't want to mount on the wall? Any model brands?
Online chat told me to contact the store. Even then, the manager had to call me back later. He was unwilling to do anything for me at all. Then when I get to the store I help an employee push the tv in on a cart after her coworker abandoned her.

LG sells their own. The G series started with the GX and that same stand carried over to the G1. So just search for "LG GX Stand" and you'll see it pop up. It's basically little feet that connect to both sides of the TV
