This CPU got trashed in reviews, but has its uses. It is basically performance wise a Ryzen 2600. It will feed a mainstream (RX 6600 or 3060) at 1080p or better at higher resolution while offering good all around productivity performance.
Problem is, if you can afford a 3060, then you can afford better. If you can't or only care about productivity, then it's integrated GPU for you, which this does not have.

If will feed less, too, which is more of the point. If you have a GTX 1070 and need a platform upgrade, this is not an unreasonable chip. You can pick up a 4500 and a B460 board for almost the price of an 5600.
Looking at the secondary market, 1600AF/2600/2600Xs are going for about $70. To get to a minimum level of mainstream for the least amount of money, that might be the way to go.
